To be honest I stopped here out of desperation after trying to find brunch in Back Bay but it turned out to be a good coffee shop with a relaxed vibe. The bagels and coffee were good and the staff were fine, just not the...More

Make a reservation - this place is packed on the weekends! Great brunch and very reasonably priced. Try the French toast! It’s heavenly!

Solo dinner while on business in Boston. Food was excellent (Brussels sprouts were amazing!) staff was very nice. The downstairs atmosphere was so cozy and quaint. This is on my list of places to return when I am in Boston next.

My husband and I have eaten at The Buttery several times - dinner and brunch. We recently went back and were enchanted all over again. A lovely, simple salad with a really fresh dressing started our meal. Then I ordered the vegetable bolognese which had...More

I have been going to the buttery for years and have always found my food to have been prepared well. The pastry and bakery items are all great! Personally I like the morning glory muffins. I find the ordering process a little chaotic and unclear...More
