In a corner of the Biltmore Village shopping strip,in a courtyard providing out or indoor dining is this bistro which is deservedly popular with Ashevilleans. Excellent food, wine, staff, and a relaxed friendly ambiance make this a go to place

Fig is a small bistro in Biltmore Village and my wife and I just enjoyed a terrific lunch there. We started with pommes frites which were delightful in truffle oil garlic. My wife really enjoyed a grilled cheese with Granny Smith slices and I really enjoyed their burger. I'm usually disappointed by burgers in restaurants but this one was made... More

The Fig offered an interesting wine list. We were interested in the small plates and a glass or two of wine. The menu had everything we wanted. Ingredients were fresh and the combination of flavors made the dishes we chose enjoyable.

This is not a typical dining destination restaurant. Instead, it is a nice local place, for a very relaxed, casual dinner, in a quite secluded 'square' behind the shopping street. The staff are casual and friendly. The food is good, and quite aligned with typical "bistro" fare. The wine list is good enough, and there are many local bears on... More

This was our second visit, the last on New Year's Eve more than 4 years ago, while visiting friends. Quality of food and service has remained consistently good. A simple menu but with enough variety to satisfy most people taste. Prices are reasonable and it has a good selection of wines. Glad we went back

Was surprised by how small it was inside. The best part of the experience was the service. It was outstanding! The waitress was knowledgeable and was able to perfectly describe the food. Very impressed. House smoked salmon appetizer was great. Wife and I shared, neither of us had anything like this. Very good. Cold carrot soup not to our liking.... More

I loved the food and service. I got an amazing dish of banana bread french toast. Parking may be a little difficult but it's worth the patience.

Found it by accident after visiting and deciding not to eat lunch at two nearby restaurants. Extremely nice staff and outstanding food. Definitely will return to the Fig Bistro whenever we are in the area.

Pastas and salads were yummy, wine selections nice, service great and prices very reasonable. Near Biltmore Estate (outside of it about 5 minutes).

Wow -- what a great little place! Service was quick and friendly, and the food was absolutely delicious! I had the tomato and red pepper soup to start, and the duck for my entree, which came with roasted brussles sprouts, an apple and arugala salad, spaetzle, and an absolutely delicious mustard and fruit vinaigrette. It was one of the best... More
