We had lunch at the Biltmore after our tour of the house and before the winery. The food was very good and very reasonably priced for a family.

Bake shop was busy but they moved the line along fairly quickly. The caramel apple tart was good but would have been 100 times better served warm. My boyfriend got the hot chocolate - I tried it and it was amazing, I should have gotten that instead of coffee. Nice place to sit just outside the bake shop and rest... More

We visited Biltmore's Bake Shop for a quick bite and coffee before our entry time into the House. It was quite busy even early in the morning. The pecan/cranberry/white chocolate cookie was moist, chewy and just perfect. My husband was surprised at the large size of his breakfast sandwich on a croissant. It was also pronounced very tasty. Biltmore staff,... More

The Bake Shop is located right outside the front door of the estate in the "food court" area. Nice assortment of baked goods. Cookies are large and delicious. Coffee was good. Lines but they moved quickly. Outdoor seating in the courtyard.

Be sure to have breakfast before visiting the estate. I was hungry upon exiting and ordered a roast beef sandwich and a cookie. Just so so. Service was slow. Ate the cookie before receiving the food. After such a wonderful estate experience I suppose I expected better. They seemed under staffed.

My family and I call the collection of dining experiences outside of the Biltmore House the Biltmore Food Court--this covers the Courtyard Market, The Bake Shop, and The Ice Cream Parlor. A trip to the Biltmore Estate can be expensive, but I have found visiting the "food court" is the least costly way to feed my family of 6 good... More

We only purchased a cookie here - like one cookie. It was the Oatmeal/Pecan. It was good, but not 'unbelievably good.' $2.50 for one cookie is more than we usually pay...

I has a croissant sandwich which was very good. My friend, however, ordered a sandwich and a bowl of soup. He figured it would be more like a cup than a bowl and when they brought it to us on the patio it was in a cardboard cup container. When he opened it he gasped. There wasn't more than about... More

I had coffee and an apple tart here before entering the "big house." It was absolutely delicious! I would have loved to try one of everything, but forced myself to just eat one.

Pastries, fruit and breakfast sandwiches are ready for the picking so wait to have breakfast at the Biltmore grounds instead of stopping elsewhere first. Lots of choices and very good. Slightly expensive for bakery food is my only concern.
