We went here for brunch. It was not a long wait. I believe they know how to get people in and out and still have great service! Mimosas were delicious! I had the chicken biscuits, which were HUGE! I would definitely come back!

My husband and I happened by here after being told it would be an hour wait at another restaurant, and we are so happy for the redirect. Mayfel’s is an ode to the owner’s grandmother, and I have to believe grandma would be proud. The...More

Really good brunch food in a fun atmosphere and a bloody Mary bar to boot. What's not to love? Reasonable wait time on a beautiful Saturday morning. Attentive server. And the Asheville scramble with rye toast was memorable. We'll be back.

Just had one of the best french toasts ever. Homemade Brioche dipped in Egg-wash and grilled. Topped with Crème Anglaise and a rasberry Compote. Comes with choice of Bacon, Sausage, Ham, or Veggie Sausage. No syrup needed. Topped it off with a beignet. Great New...More

Nice small place in downtown Asheville. Features Cajun style dishes. The house gumbo was one of the best I’ve had. Ordered the Ettouffee, very good. Overall a nice evening.

Interesting brunch menu. Food was good. Enjoyed the "make your own bloody Mary" bar. That "bar" contains lots of ingredients to add to your drink, including horse radish, pepperoncini, hot sauce, Sirachi, Worcestershire, and more. Located right in the center of town, so it lent...More

We started our girls' weekend with lunch at Mayfel's They told us the wait would by 20-25 minutes but in reality it was only about 7-8, so that was a pleasant surprise. However, once we were seated, it was another 7-8 minutes before a server...More

Sorry it took your server so long to make it to your table. I'm sure he or she was just really busy, and not being intentionally rude. Good service is how they make their living after all. Super glad y'all enjoyed your food and drink....More

7 of us were able to get in. Didn't realize it was cajun food. Wow, was it good! We had wonderful shrimp and grits, and a fabulous meatloaf dish. Prices were reasonable. A real value considering great location and quality food!

Gotta say, this is the first "too much gravy" complaint I have ever received. Sorry you didn't enjoy your breakfast.

You can certainly assemble the elements of a brunch anytime from the menu. Cocktails and coffee when you want them.
