Zambra has been a staple in Asheville for a long time. The food is still good. I just think the menu has become uninspired and it is not as good as it used to be. With so many other great choices in Asheville there are...More

We experienced a sampling of the food and sangria on a previous food tour and knew we’d be back. Parking decks are about the only option nearby for cars. Restaurant is located downtown on a steep hill. Great vibe and ambiance as you walk in,...More

Dropped in after brewery-hopping and needing some food. Good reviews and an available table led us here when Curate was booked solid. The place is bigger than I expected, with a nice decor and segmented seating that disguises how many tables there are. There was...More

Zambra is a cozy, hip, and romantic tapas spot tucked on a narrow side street in downtown Asheville. They have a stylish, helpful website with link to online reservations which will give you reminder confirmation. The restaurant is easy to find, but you do need...More

We stumbled across this little gem when walking around town. We sampled Pomegranate Braised Pork Spring Rolls (OMG!), grilled shrimp, soft shell crab, and pan rustico along with a few other things. Everything was delicious. We sat outside and the breeze blew gently through the...More

This is my favorite restaurant in Asheville, and has been for years. And that's saying a lot - we have a bunch of great restaurants here! My husband and I have celebrated our anniversary at Zambra's almost every year and are never disappointed. This year...More

The courses were promptly coming out, usually about 7 minutes from order, the kitchen was immaculate, the staff was wonderful and friendly. I would highly recommend the gnocchi, one of the best dishes I’ve ever had.

We came here for a bachelorette party dinner. Joshua, our server, was fantastic! Excellent service. He was very energetic and timely. Thank you! Food was good as well!

Very good. Very nice selection of regular and specials Tapas. They have a wonderful wine selection either by bottle or glass. The atmosphere is great. Very comfortable kind of dark cavey feeling. This was our third time and will be back for more.

I would say probably not. It’s very European and I’ve never seen children there. Also has a busy bar scene.

Our dynamic menu is the passion of Executive Chef Adam. Adam has attained many influences through his training in Europe and New Orleans. Zambra is his modern vision of the tastes and flavors of the western Mediterranean: Spain, Portugal, Gypsy, and North Africa. As an appropriate accompaniment, we have assembled the region's finest selection of Spanish and New World wines. We have been awarded the Wine Spectator's Award of Excellence and our wine list has been voted the best in Asheville.
