We stopped here for dinner while in town visiting. Service was excellent and the food was even better. Our family liked everything we ordered. A few of the items we loved- biscuits, wicked chicken sandwich, mac and cheese, southern belle grilled cheese, and banana pudding. Many other dishes looked great, so we are going back.

Nice interesting place in a great location. The shrimp and grits were pretty good and the cheesecake dessert was also good. Great service. Worth a visit.

The goat cheese appetizer is simply wonderful! I had this as a light dinner and was pleased. This place is always packed. Be prepared to wait for a table. The tables are very close together. The bar seats are cramped but a good option if they are available and you are pressed for time. The signature biscuits with blueberry preserves... More

Delicious variety of southern home cooked dishes in downtown Ashville. Cheesy shrimp and grits, pulled pork dishes, and savory hamburgers all were tasty by the guests. Great stop while in town.

I have eaten several times and the chicken and pancakes are delicious. They have very good biscuits and homemade blueberry jam. Highly recommend.

30 min wait at 6pm on Saturday night. Biscuits, johnny cake with pulled pork and Brussels were my favorites- also a seasonal gin and tonic and blueberry Kentucky mule cocktail recommended-

We love the dining experience at Tupelo Honey Cafe. The food is amazing and made from scratch and we always buy a jar of honey to take with us along our trip. The biscuits and honey are delicious along with the pecan sweet potato pancakes. The service is awesome. We plan our trip around stopping at Tupelo Honey Cafe. It's... More

Description
Our Southern dishes and libations are served with a creative twist and a smile, and we serve our guests nothing that we wouldn't want on our own supper table. When we play with our food (and we think it's okay), the result is scrumptious. We're rooted in the Mountain South, and our menu is inspired by time-honored traditions: pickling and frying, canning and preserving, and utilizing seasonal produce and ingredients to prepare delicious, scratch-made creations.
