I have been to Tupelo Honey in Knoxville in the past few years but had not been to Tupelo Honey in Asheville in a while. I have always loved their house salad with balsamic dressing. (I have actually purchased the dressing and brought it home...More

We ate at Tupelo Honey tonight. We had a great meal with great friendly, professional service. Wish we had a restaurant like this near us. Natalie was a wonderful server. Enjoyed chatting with her.

I highly recommend this restaurant. Food was great and so service. Fried chicken was amazing and so was mountain trout.

I definitely have my favorites here -- shrimp and grits, fried green tomatoes top the list. Service is always friendly, food is always fantastic. Sometimes there is a waitlist but it's worth it. If you love the tried and true southern cuisine, this is it....More

My wife and I were visiting Asheville for the first time to eat and play. Read reviews on Trip advisor for top restaurants and TH was listed. We gave it a try and so glad we did. Upscale southern cuisine was delightful. We will be...More

Loved the new southern food, fried chicken included, as this hot spot in Asheville. Only thing preventing 5 stars was lots of cross table noise from nearby malcontents, complaining loudly about all sorts of things. Place was packed, so no move possible. Be aware: people...More

We chose Tupelo for our 40th anniversary dinner and are pleased we did. Food and service was excellent and the pecan pie was the best in my life (except for my mom's). When we return to Asheville, and we will soon, this is where we...More

Ate dinner here, ordered the appetizers of fried okra and pimento cheese nachos. They were both so delicious! Ate every bite, then my husband and I shared the buttermilk chicken with collard greens and the mixed green salad. All choices were absolutely perfect. The manager...More

I did not see any pets when Imwas there. I don't believe there would be sufficient room for pets, however, I did not see any signs of "no pets allowed" . Loved the restaurant, food excellent!!

Description
Our Southern dishes and libations are served with a creative twist and a smile, and we serve our guests nothing that we wouldn't want on our own supper table. When we play with our food (and we think it's okay), the result is scrumptious. We're rooted in the Mountain South, and our menu is inspired by time-honored traditions: pickling and frying, canning and preserving, and utilizing seasonal produce and ingredients to prepare delicious, scratch-made creations.
