It was a rainy Monday so, like most other Asheville vacationers, we took to the the main streets and tried to get a bite to eat. Tupelo Honey was on our list, so we put our names in for a table. The wait wasn't long,...More

Had a late dinner at Tupelo Honey. We had a short wait and then were seated inside. This is a small and very busy restaurant with seating outdoors as well. Loved the unusual southern offerings on the menu and tried a few things that we...More

Great breakfast food and the service was excellent. Our waitress kept the coffee and water filled without asking.

This is my second visit to a Tupelo Honey restaurant ... the other was in Knoxville. It lived up to my first experience. Great food and good service. Biscuits are better than my grandmother used to make and that is saying something. Recommend any dish...More

Four of us went out to breakfast this morning. We got to Tupelo Honey around 8:45; unfortunately they do not open until nine, and even more unfortunately, they refused even to let us sit in their outdoor seating. That was a little too bad, to...More

Tupelo Honey is always a must visit when we are in Asheville, the food is amazing, creative and delicious. Be prepared for a wait on weekends, sometimes the line goes down the street, but worth it! I suggest that you only eat a little bit...More

Tupelo Honey has a great menu filled with southern favourites! Everything from grits to fried okra to the fried green tomato BLT is on the menu. As a vegetarian, I typically order that Grateful 'Veg' Burger, but I also enjoy a bowl of tomato soup!...More

I'm not sure but I wasn't all that satisfied with this place I think there are better restaurants in the area, I'd check with some of the locals while you are there in the area.

As an Asheville resident, my biggest complaint is there is no place at all to dress up. not the theater, restaurants, even church. Still some of us do because of habit or we like to. I would encourage everyone to wear a... More

Our Southern dishes and libations are served with a creative twist and a smile, and we serve our guests nothing that we wouldn't want on our own supper table. When we play with our food (and we think it's okay), the result is scrumptious. We're rooted in the Mountain South, and our menu is inspired by time-honored traditions: pickling and frying, canning and preserving, and utilizing seasonal produce and ingredients to prepare delicious, scratch-made creations.
