The staff was very kind in accommodating our need for an outdoor spot for our dogs (they only have a few outdoor tables) and one of the cooks came out to give them pieces of bacon. We loved the cornbread and bacon. The only downside was the darn blue laws that don't allow alcohol to be served before 12 on... More

So nice to have a cozy, comfortable local restaurant that serves delicious, fresh, nourishing food. We love to eat dinner at The Junction and they have something on the menu for everyone which is nice if some in your party are vegetarian and some prefer a gourmet piece of fried free range delicious chicken. Local folks doing a great job... More

From the initial greeting to the first cocktail to the entrees, I haven't had a greater meal in a long while. The chef brought out the appetizer himself, pork rinds but not any pork rinds. Something new! Huge pork rinds with hot sauce and an avocado creme fraiche. The sweet tea fried chicken was soooo delicious. Great service and a... More

2nd Visit: 1st was memorable, 2nd was equally grand! Restaurant is in the Arts District. Great area to kill an hour before dinner. Owner Charles greets you and welcomes you as family. Head Chef David popped in and delivered food and a terrific commentary all evening. This is something special! Cocktails are a big reason to frequent the Junction. We... More

We were looking for a place to seat 6 people at the last minute & found The Junction on open table. They have something for everyone, even vegetarian. Small place with excellent service and fantastic food. The pizzetta was awesome! It's in the River Arts District. Easy to find and you'll be glad you went.

Great energy here. If you like duck, the confit wontons are a must! I had their 8oz burger and it was very tender and tasty.

The Junction is a very small farm-to-table restaurant in the river/arts district of Asheville. Charming brick walls and open-air kitchen add to the dining experience. Scallops were large and sweet and sat atop delicious risotto. The wait staff was fun and friendly, and we even had a one-on-one chat with the chef!

Wondering dining experience. Staff is excellent and the menu is wonderful with fresh dishes. For our evening we started with orders of pork rinds and cornbread. Both starter were excellent all around. For our main meal we had red snapper with a great collection of veggies and sauces, and scallops with a salad. We will be back to this gem... More

This place is not in downtown Asheville so may get over looked. However it is in the equally cool River Arts District. Best service in town, most likely the owner will be greeting you and taking you to your table. Good chance the chef will bring at least one course to your table. Fantastically creative food full of flavors. A... More

The Junction is the first full service restaurant in Asheville's River Arts District. We feature Southern-inspired farm to table fare and seasonal craft cocktails with fresh ingredients. We brine our fried chicken, smoke our pears, handcraft our soups and visit tailgate markets weekly. We make our own bacon and ketchup, squeeze cases of citrus each week for cocktails and work with other local, small businesses whenever possible. We invite you to join us after work for a casual beer and a burger at the bar, or to bring your beloved or whole family for a unique dining experience. Our menu features a combination of soups, salads and sharing plates as well as hearty entree options so that every dining experience is unique. Please visit our website to preview menus, as they change weekly.
