Decided to take a little road trip for brunch. We've been there before. Glad we went the menu has changed a little, the prices have gone up a little, but we were glad we went. The wife had the blueberry French toast and said it was very good. I had the sweet potato panckes, had changed since the last time. They... More

Friends have been recommending this place since last year. On those recommendations we had lunch there the other day. The first thing we saw entering the restaurant was a poster that said New Chef and new food. Sometimes that isn't such a good thing. Our lunch started out with a waitress who was very animated and started off telling us... More

I'm sure you can get a good meal here.....apparently for an all American breakfast, but do not try it for dinner. We both had the fish with cornbread stuffing....recommended by the waitress. I had mine minus the stuffing because of food allergies. It was dry, tasteless and overcooked and for what it was, not cheap. I ordered green beans, which... More

Restaurant was on a wait when we arrived and enjoyed a cocktail while we waited 25 mins for a table. Bartender was pleasant. Our server was very informative and able to make several suggestions. I had the fried green tomatoes with goat cheese which were good but not amazing. Chose the Carolina trout and it was a lot of breadcrumbs... More

Best thing about our visit was the coupon I had for a free glass! We had an early dinner here with family including 2 small children. Service was so slow, I mean really really slow. We were here for 2 hours, and just had a meal, no dessert or drinks, just dinner. While they did have vegetarian options they were... More

We live very near the south Tupelo Honey location. Rarely do we go for any meal other than brunch. Now I know why. Went with a friend for lunch this week and I have to say the food was disappointing. Nothing either one of us had was really good. Edible but nothing great. Fried green tomato app was ok but... More

We ate at Tupelo Honey in South Asheville this weekend. Didn't want to drive over the mountain into downtown Asheville. Great decision. We has reservations for 7:15p on Saturday night and this place was jumping. Great vibe. Great mix of people - tourists, locals, and some kids out for prom. Waiters and management were all so friendly and accessible. You... More

My wife and I just finished dinner there in Asheville, NC. Wife had a variety of sides while I had shrimp and grits. Wife's Brussel sprouts were primarily a bunch of leaves with way too much salt. She also had mac & cheese that came in a 4 inch diameter skillet that cost. $8: she had an equivalent quality for... More

I ordered the fancy hamburger and it was the best hamburger I've ever had. Two patties with pulled pork between and two kinds of sauce to play with. It was so big no fries or sides were necessary. When I go back again, I'll order the same thing. Other guests in our party also enjoyed their meals. The only thing... More

Having eaten at the downtown location, we found this one easier to find parking and the food was just as good. We ate outside on the covered patio and it was very nice considering you are sitting in the parking lot for the most part. The biscuits that come out while you are waiting for dinner were outstanding. The blueberry... More

Description
What constitutes "New South Flavors?" For us, it is begins with reverence for those time-honored Southern dishes. Served up by wonderful home cooks for years. We respect the freshness, the flavors and the food itself. But we like to jazz it up a little, add something deliciously unexpected to delight your palate. Our interpretation of traditional Southern fare is creative, inventive and satisfyingly scrumptious. Cheers to New South Flavor!
