Fun to try everything. Reasonable prices and fabulous food. Interesting and unique drink options. Make a reservation because it is always crowded.

We live 150+ miles from Asheville but are there at least once a month and EVERY time we go here. The bar is so fun to sit and chat and much and watch the magic happen. You will not be disappointed.

This busy downtown restaurant offers a great selection of small plates to share. The wine list is extensive, favors Spanish wines & offers good value, with lots of wines by the glass. Wait staff is very helpful - just ask for advice if you're not sure what to order!

I would not argue with anyone that claims Curate is the best place to eat in Asheville. Not only are the Chef owner Katie Button and her Husband alums of the houses of Ferran Adria and Jose Andreas (if you don't know who these people are look them up) but the food at Curate is the real deal. They have... More

The night before Curate temporarily closed for their expansion we were treated to a fabulous meal on a long-weekend getaway from our home in Atlanta. In particular the lamb kebob, the brussel sprouts, the goat cheese - stuffed red peppers and of course the jamon iberico and serrano were all wel prepared and outstandingly flavorful. We highly recommend this restaurant... More

This was our second visit to Curate - the first was less than impressive, so we gave it another try. The sangria was a good start along with the fresh bruschetta. The sausage sandwich was honestly enough of a meal for me. Still a tad pricey, but I'd go back again and try a couple of different dishes.

Atmosphere/ambience all you could expect in a Tapas restaurant and service was very good. Tapas presentation was nice. We had shrimp, Spanish Ham (3 kinds of ham in one dish), anchovies, squid. One glass of Sangria and a coke. The bill was more than a $100. The Tapas were ok, but were not near as one would expect. We have... More

We went to Curate for a special birthday dinner. The food was good, but not quite as special as the hype led us to believe. What astounded me and the reason why we'll never go back i(and we're local) is that the waiter asked to see my friend's license before he'd bring her a birthday treat. Never seen this before.

We are very sorry to hear of this incident! Asking guests for and ID to authenticate a request is certainly not our policy and we are shocked that a member of our staff would do so. Please reach out to us with more information, if possible, so we can fully look into the incident. The last thing we want is... More
