We love this restaurant so much, we drive here from Aspen, Colorado! Sort of joking - but when we visit Asheville this is the first restaurant we go to for dinner. And the second, and the third. Just never tasted such consistently yummy Italian food. Every dish. Never had the pizza, but it looked terrific. Friday night $5 martinis are... More

We went here last night for our date. My husband and I had chic parm and lasagna. There was nothing special about it. It was your run of the mill basic Italian place. Good, but not out of this world.

Garlic knots were great, my baked ziti stayed in the oven too long and the cheese on top was burnt. Sauce was good and our server was good. It's a short Uber drive to the Grove Park Inn to enjoy a rocking chair in front of the fireplace for a nightcap!

My husband and I dined here on a friend recommendation and left disappointed. While his pasta special was tasty, it was overpriced for what he got and my calzone was not good. The mozzarella was all in one spot and very heavy on the ricotta. Though the food was disappointing, the service was very good.

We really enjoyed our food. Had some cheese sticks and rice balls with smoky tomato sauce that our waitress suggested. We shared the baked ziti and it was very creamy and cheesy. We will go back next time we are in the area.

For the past two weekends, Vinnie's has added soft shell crabs to the menu. I have had them both weekends and they have been, the best way to describe, is spectacular. Had with the white sauce on linguine, pan fried just right. Hoping they will be available for a couple more weekends. Eric, our waiter, was very attentive and knowledgable.... More

We are Italian, from Jersey and I work in New York. So, that said, we can be tough to please, especially when we like to say that "when you're outside of New York you're just camping out." But, we were told that Asheville has a good food scene and we weren't disappointed. Discovered by chance on our last night, wondering... More

Vinnie's Italian was a bit off the downtown circuit but so worth finding. The staff was super friendly and even without a reservation, found a spot quickly for us on the outdoor patio. The food was amazing and served up quickly. A great find!

Had the best evening at Vinnie's a couple weeks ago. Fantastic service from the time you walk in the door and are greeted to the time you leave. There was a charity event going on the night we visited and I loved how the entire staff pitched in to help each other. Can't tell you how many people came over... More

We were in town to see the Biltmore Estate and had seen some reviews before choosing this place. We were not disappointed. Very good Italian food at reasonable prices. I tried the Chicken Parm while my wife opted for Sausage and Peppers on Penne Pasta. Loved the music and cute signs on the wall. Our service was quite good and... More
