The Admiral is a study in the ability of a restaurant to go beyond appearances. The restaurant is in a well maintained, stand-alone, commercial cinderblock building. On the outside, it looks completely unpretentious. Inside, it’s dark and looks like a 1960s bar. The bar, in...More

My husband loves this restaurant. and I love some of its offerings, but I have a mainstream palate and am not fond of quail, quail eggs, raw meat or fish, or duck fat, or pork belly. I know you are thinking, well, why do you...More

Upon first glance you’d think you were walking into an under the radar place that may or may not guarantee a great meal. It certainly disappointed. The space was nice and the server was friendly and quick. The drinks were all really good. The food...More

I had the most bland pork chop ever with cold veggies that left me sorry I came. The appetizers are high in price and we found it odd that for example the chicken liver mousse didn’t come with bread, bread is another $7. The wines...More

Outstanding in every way. Service was very good. Food was fantastic. There is a relatively new chef with a new outstanding menu of small and large plates. Great for sharing. Our foursome loved everything we were served. Local lettuce salad has an incredibly light buttermilk...More

All the food is locally grown. The food was very good. The steak was amazing. My vegetarian plate was especially tasty. The desserts...oh my the desserts. Decadent. The desserts were definitely worth the caloric investment.
