I loved the vibe and the food was just absolutely amazing! I had a rack of ribs and I highly recommend the jalapeño grits!

Went to 12 bones and expected the best, but received dried, yellow turkey chips (smoked turkey?) and cold, too salty collards. Really surprised as I had not eaten there in a long while and it was terrible. Lunch hours, before 1 pm.

Amazing vibe walking in, tons of murals painted outside, a little though to find if you don't know the address, but the food was great I suggest the pulled chicken or ribs (blueberry chipotle rub) the jalapeno grits and corn pudding. Delicious!
If you are anywhere near the River Arts District, or West Asheville, around lunch head out to 12 Bones. Great barbeque at reasonable prices. Portion size for the sandwich is pretty big so go hungry.
