If your on highway 41 this is the place to stop at for a bite to eat, over the last few years this was our third visit to Joanie's and again the food was excellent. We had the crab cake sandwich which comes with fries and a drink the portions are generous and are of good value. Don't let the... More

I stopped in and immediately the staff made me feel like an old friend. I had blackened grouper with cajun seasonings and it was the best tasting grouper I've ever had. The beer is cold and the atmosphere is inviting and old school. It is worth the drive just to experience this gem.

The staff, specially Lisa, are super fun and funny. Funky little place with pretty good food and cold beer. Certainly worth the stop.

What a fun place, our waitress Lisa made our experience that much more special. I enjoyed my soft shell crab and crab soup. The vegetable relish was excellent. The food is not over the top but what you would expect for a roadside diner. The atmosphere is casual with a lot of character. I highly recommend the women's bathroom.

We stopped here on our return to Miami Airport. We had already eaten a hearty breakfast, so weren't hungry, but had read about the place in the guide book so had to give it a try. It was such a unique experience! The place has so much atmosphere! I don't know the name of our waitress but she was BRILLIANT!... More

What a great place to stop on a trip across Florida. Greeted at the door by the boss lady herself. She explained how everything worked and made us feel right at home. The food was great and the she crab soup is world class! Don't miss this place and skip hwy 75 next trip.

This is, by far, the most unusual place we stopped. The food was very good. The server, Lisa, made our trip! What a character. We laughed and had a great time. The only complaint I have is the lewd photographs going into the bathroom and on the bathroom walls. Apparently they were professional nudes of locals. Totally out of place... More

This was the perfect stop for me. I just got done w/ an awesome kayak trip, and wanted to go to a low key spot. I got the fried crab sandwich, which was perfect! The atmosphere reminded me of the typical key west stop - low key, authentic, and lots of interesting things hanging from the ceiling! The service was... More
