After reading the RAVE reviews of Viola's from my fellow Trip Advisor writers I decided to make the TWO hour drive to Los Alamos from Albuquerque to give it a try. Upon arriving at Viola's I was impressed by very "dineresque" atmosphere inside. Viola's is somewhat small with tables that are a tad near to each other. I actually liked... More

We go to Violas about twice a week. We do this because the food is amazing and the employees are friendly. Love, love, love this place!

The service, the food authentic Southwest, and always fresh!! Locals love it!! I usually meet on a Friday or Saturday morning to have breakfast and chat. It is always busy, and the locals greet each other like it was the best place in town to meet and greet!!

Good New Mexican, the best Los Alamos has to offer for sure, and hangs in there with the better places in Santa Fe and Espanola. Only open breakfast and lunch. The daily favorites are very popular and sell out early -- especially carne adovada on fridays.

I've been here only a couple of times for lunch and I would definitely return. The food is tasteful, well prepared and is moderately priced. They do allow for customization of meal options, red versus green chili etc. It's self seating, which is nice! The clientele is a fun mix of all classes and races. Groups are more than welcome... I'm biased. Viola's serves really good northern NM cuisine. I'm talking breakfast burritio, green chili cheesburger, and the like. The answer is: Christmas.

Viola's has a varied breakfast with very reasonable prices. The food is very good ,the service excellent, and you don't have to wait long for your meal to be served. Both the red and the green chilli are excellent. (I prefer the green). The atmosphere is not fancy. It is a hometown restaurant where regulars frequent and enjoy each others... More

A busy restaurant in the heart of Los Alamos. We were just passing through this time but very hungry. We ordered cheese enchiladas, and they were delicious! Considering how busy they were, the service was very good.

With how busy this place is we had always been nervous on how long they take, but they are very fast we had our food within ten minutes. Must try for lunch in los alamos!

Their carne adobada is so good that if you don't get there before noon it's all gone. Their huevos rancheros are also great for breakfast or lunch.
