This was our second time in Moab and our second time at the Desert Bistro. Yes, it is expensive, but it truly is fine dining and the food and service are excellent.

You have to make reservations in advance to get in here but it was an excellent meal, lovely atmosphere (we sat out on the patio), and overall lovely evening. I had the special: a fish flown in from Hawaii and it was some of the best fish I've ever eaten...and in Moab! Everyone was pleased with their meal from the... More

We have eaten here several times over the years and have never been disappointed. We both had the fish special that was outstanding. Very good desserts also. Our server did a very nice job of taking care of us. I would recommend reservations.

Wow - what a beautifully prepared meal!!! I started off with the Ahi Tuna special - it tasted as beautiful as it looked!! My Cosmo was one of the best I've ever had anywhere!! My husband started off with the ground pork in phyllo with a roasted red pepper sauce - absolutely delicious! For dinner I had the Organic Free... More

We were very impressed with the presentation and quality of the food. As mentioned, the house salad comes wrapped in thin slices of cucumber. My favorite part of the salad was the cheese which our server said came off a wheel. My pork tenderloin was so tender, as was the bison steak hubby had. The crispy hash browns that came... More

Yes, this restaurant is expensive, but sometimes you have to pay more to get a one of a kind dining experience. We had a truly great meal here. The fresh baked bread was delicious, served with oil, olive tapenade, and honey-rosemary butter. We both chose the special of the night. My husband had bison tenderloin cooked medium rare with a... My wife is vegan and I am somewhere between vegetarian and vegan. Fine dining restaurants are hard for us to find. We were in Moab and had one of the best meals I can remember eating. The gyoza were outstanding. My wife had a dish called something like vegan tower, and she loved it. I had a pasta dish agnolotti... More

Relieved to find a fine dining restaurant inMoab. The service was attentive, the food was delicious, well prepared and presented. An extensive wine list complemented the meal. I had the venison special which was beautifully cooked and very flavoursome. Prices were on the high side but service and quality compensated.

My son and I have done this 2 years in a row, the food is impressive - well beyond what was initially expected. The fish special on both occasions was spectacular and worth getting. The bread and pastries are special. The staff is clearly well trained and seem to enjoy their work - it is the second best part of... More

You don't expect much in the area of fine dining in Moab, but the Desert Bistro is wonderful! The wine list is not big, but includes some great choices and the food is great. We had two of the specials of the day, the Bison Tenderloin and the Mero, and they were both excellent. On top of that the service... More
