While visiting Moab for vacation, we stopped in at The Broken Oar for dinner. There was a short wait for table, which we took as a good sign since the place was crowded. Our waitress was friendly, but seemed worn out from running up and down the stairs (we were seated upstairs) bringing orders up from the kitchen and drinks... More

Local tour guides recommended it as a local place. It wasn't that busy. The food was just ok and service was ok. Maybe a good night spot but we were just there for dinner.

We waited for 45 minutes for a seat, as it was PACKED. I never wait that long. Anywhere. Ever. It was worth it.

Simply no visit to Moab would be complete without a trip to the super friendly, super yummy restaurant. We were there just one day before they closed for the winter. The service was so good you would have thought we were there at the beginning of the season. MUST HAVE THE SWEET POTATO FRIES. GO and ENJOY, Special thanks to... More

We arrived after a long day of travel and the food was fine. The menu was limited because the restaurant was closing in a week for the season, but still very comfortable. Do try the sweet potato fries.

My wife and I ate here twice. I had trout one night and trout the other. The fish was fresh, very tasty, and perfectly done. The staff was great and very accommodating the second night when they lost our reservation. It's a very popular place, and well deserving of it's popularity.

Excellent service, tasty food, good presentation made excellent dinner experience. Was met with a smile at the door by a friendly gentleman and it went up from there. Taylor was our server and gave just the right amount of attention. Her recommendations proved to be excellent as the pork chops and medallions were awesome.

They were out of a lot of menu items since we were told that they were to close the coming Saturday. I thinks that's poor for a restaurant to do that and not tell you when you come in. Hardest ribs I have ever attempted to eat. Steaks weren't much better. Wait staff was over worked. Not sure if I... More

The steak was very tasty and tender. Service was good , and fast. We were very happy to have delicious food after long walks in the national park. Highly recommend to others.

Honestly, I can't remember having a better meal at any restaurant! First we were greeted by a polite and knowledgeable server. She was patient and sincere when she smiled because we just couldn't decide what to order. Then we were brought out what I call a real salad! No white lettuce with an occasional tomato or olive to fight over....a... More

Description
The Broken Oar Restaurant is the perfect Moab dining destination. Our wide variety of homemade food provides a great escape from the usual mass-produced chain food available. Come tap into something cold with one of our many draft beers, which includes a great selection of local brews, or if it's wine that fits the mood, you won't be disappointed as we have a great selection of local and imported wines.
Our unique restaurant decor is best described as "cozy mountain cabin" meets "ski lodge." Relax by our stone fireplace in the cooler months or enjoy the warm atmosphere provided by our enormous outdoor deck
