We stumbled upon this place as we were driving around San Fran for the day. Visiting from Florida. Wow delicious! We had their specialty dish- cioppino. It was a seafood stew with a bit of pasta on the bottom. I could eat this every day...More

Possibly the best seafood we have had! The cioppino was amazing and was more than ample for 2 of us to share. The crab linguini and the steamed clams were also fantastic. So tasty. I would suggest booking like we did. This place is extremely...More

Passed by, by coincidence with colleagues. Looked at the menu and thought we could find something for everybody. Was seated in the basement which is not at all as pleasant as the 1st floor, but this was compensated by the very nice and welcoming waiter...More

A casual and fun restaurant with some of the best sea food we've had. Fresh and tasty. The sand dabs are our new favorite fish: light and delicious. Highly recommend!

It’s super busy place we had to wait for 40 minutes which signaled it’s probably very good restaurant. Then after we were seated we waited for about 20 minutes to get the cioppino. It turns out the best ever tasted. It all worth’s the time...More

We had a great time destroying the pot with cioppino. It was enough one pot for two of us. The dish was perfect, nothing to add.

Packed small place. But as long as you have reservation, you’ll be better off. They do have a basement section for more seats should they run out of seats on ground floor. Reasonable priced Fresh Oysters we got are small. The Cioppino was great. The...More

I've only been here three times over the past 20 years. Tried sand dabs (tasty fried lemonated fishlets), clam chowder, seafood linguine, alfredo, salad, bread, oysters... always more than I could eat but hard to put down the fork! Don't expect a fine dining atmosphere...More

This restaurant was recommended by a native San Franciscan, and I'm so glad it was. We went on a Saturday evening without reservations. We were told to sit at the counter, but there was an hour wait. So, we sat downstairs. The atmosphere isn't the...More

North Beach / Telegraph Hill
The aroma of freshly roasted coffee beans, the sounds
of opera, and the sights of the romantic Italian
ristorante come together to create the charming
neighbourhood of North Beach, once the stomping
grounds for the Beatnik Generation. Although parts of
North Beach are known for nightlife that’s not always
suitable for younger visitors, few neighbourhoods in
the city exude as much European charm and style.

I think they will split a regular order for two persons, but I don’t think there are half orders. It’s very reasonably price and terrific.

No reservations for parties of three or less. 6pm is a good walk in time.
