We did a prearranged food tour and this was one of the stops. The ice cream was pretty good and really really creamy. We tried the caramel. Glad we got to try it and we didn't have to queue!

Did not find the ice cream creative or creamy. Sometimes people just flock to places because of prior reputation before there are better choices.

Friends who live in the city suggested we go for ice cream after dinner. We were three adults and three kids. It was cold that night, so I was hesitant when we walked up and. Saw the long line. It was so worth the wait....More

We stumbled across Bi-Rite by accident whilst heading towards Dolores Park on foot. We saw that it was popular, the sun was out so decided to treat ourselves to an ice-cream! There was a bit of a wait but purely because the staff were taking...More

We visited Bi-Rite as it was the #1 rated dessert location in San Francisco. When we arrived, the line was not only out the door.....it was around the corner as well. More importantly, I could not find anywhere to park so our party got out...More
