Nice atmosphere and food was ok. We had the calamari, a pasta dish and the clams/mussels/shrimp in the fish broth. The pasta and calamari were ok and the fish broth dish was tasty. The calamari could have used some dipping sauce. Overall it was ok food and the server was friendly and fast.

I was not pleased on my return visit from a year ago. I went there on a crab dinner for two from Groupon. The value was $150+ for only $50. Well, I'm glad I only paid what I did. The waiter took the coupon and our drink order without much of a greeting or welcome. I chased him down to... More

Had a Groupon for $59.00 for two whole roasted crabs, soup or salad, bread and dessert of the day. Service was below average he just came by once or twice. Acted like he was a little put out. We ordered extra appetizers. The shrimp cocktail and truffle oil fries. The shrimp cocktail was a joke. Five small shrimp spread out... More

This place gets good reviews, maybe we just hit an off day. Really expensive for what you get. I was so excited.....soup of the day was Lentil. Yum, one of my faves....not here though....I've never had a lentil soup in like a tomato type broth...there were hardly any lentils. I was so disappointed. The crabs were tiny, TINY. Cooked in... We have had very good experience with dinners for lunch (over 8) groups of various ages and food tastes. We had our Idaho family down over Thanksgiving and had a marvelous early dinner. Burgers to crabs!

A girlfriend and I stopped by for some seafood. We had a great waiter Robert who was attentive and helpful. We ordered the crab for 2. It was just crab and sourdough bread but oh so good. It was very messy but oh so worth it. I even soaked up all the juice with the bread!!

I was look for a beer and sometime quick to eat. As I walked by a notice the bartender chatting up a elderly woman in a wheel chair. There were big smile and laughter, that says a lot about Capurro's staff. So I walked in and order chowder and a beer. Staff was super. Beer was cold and the chowder... More

I've had the wild salmon. The salmon was baked dry, even though it was with skin. Most of the dish was very spicy, which the waiters confirmed wasn't the intention. The use of koriander was too intense. The waiter had few tables to attend, but paid very little attention to us: no questions about empty glasses and the soup bowl... More

For a seafood restaurant the ingredients are not fresh. The fried calamari came from frozen stock and is stringy. The shrimp is mushy. On top of that they tacked on an "extra charge" to cover "government mandated expenses", in fine print. And worse of all they have an educational section on their menu advising foreign guests to give a generous... More
