Had Sunday brunch here and the meal was fantastic! Excellent eggs Benedict and goat cheese omelette. We decided to try the homemade pop tart and we weren't disappointed. The mimosas were great, I would definitely eat there again

The menu is small but inviting. The server was attentive and helpful in answering questions about the entrees. We ordered soup as a first course and were surprised that it was not served with bread... at $8 each that was a turnoff. The "music" was very loud and made conversation difficult. Ribs and slaw were delicious and we left as... More

We got the most perfect table ~ easy to watch this most incredible time lapsed photography on the wall ~ making for really good conversation ~ and we learned the brother had created it - of nature and cities and more. Together for 45 years now, we talked about how perfect for a first date - or if you had... More

Not much ambience from the street, and all in all not a very big place but fairly hip, with an interesting mix of cocktails, and a limited but tasty variety of menu items (and the ribs really are that good). Good place to get away and hide out.

Open Table guided me to this restaurant and am I am thrilled to find a wonderful place of nurturing food, enthusiastic and generous staff and a wonderful Prix fixe menu with wine pairings if one desires ($65.00). Very good wine list including excellent glass potential along with bottles. From beautifully arranged and executed appetizers (Bone marrow croquets, watermelon arugula feta... More

Food was delicious, but service was like a bad comedy. Management did their best to fix it with some comps and some free desserts. I'm not rushing back but I would give it another try.

Just finished a wonderful brunch at Oola and we're so lucky to have Robert as our waiter. We had bottomless mimosas that were delicious as well as several brunch dishes. The brunch was fantastic. What made our brunch really great was Robert. He was so service minded and lovely!! He gave us a pop tart which was honestly the best... More

Oola is a great restaurant that opens late. Which is a great thing and a rare thing. The food is absolutely delicious. It is the best solution for post show dining. It is very close to the Orpheum theater so very convenient. Last but not least, the service is excellent and the staff very friendly and welcoming even late at... More

Had dinner last night, used Groupon excellent value great service. Cool atmosphere, not the most family oriented, but the staff really made it work. Had two small kids after a long day and we made it through dinner.

Great food and friendly attentive service. I had the Spaghetti which were tasty and slightly spicy. My colleagues had the fried chicken and waffles and loved that too.

Staying in SoMa

Neighbourhood Profile
SoMa
South of Market (SoMa), has an urban and sophisticated vibe, but you're more likely to find big nightclubs and lots of industrial loft residences than you are to find boutique shopping. Although it’s the epicenter for tech startups in the city, visitors will be able to do more than just business - museums, top quality restaurants, and the San Francisco Giants now call this neighbourhood home. Most of its freeway-sized streets may not capture the same character as other neighbourhoods in the city, but pockets of charm, like South Park, can still be found throughout its side streets.
