There wasn't much to this place but we chose it because it was in a quiet area of Chinatown and we needed a little peace and quiet. The elderly gentleman who seated and waited on us as very nice. Our order was brought to us fairly quickly and was piping hot. We ordered pot stickers, chicken fried rice and cashew... More

Simple fare. Modest decor. Well-priced luncheon menu. Many selections. Curry chicken and chicken chow on rice noodles are both good. Portions plentiful. Fast service, if you are trying to catch your parking meter. Bathroom needs attention.

Fast service and good food, the Pepper Steak was amazing, the chicken Curry is also excellent, a bit pricy but good food.

Had lunch here. Not pretentious and basic seating but service was quick and friendly by an elderly Chinese gentleman. Chinese tea served immediately and was good (no charge for this). Ate from the lunchtime special menu and ordered chicken curry on rice and chicken with cashew nuts on rice. Both very good and total price including drinks was only $27.

Small but cosy restaurant. Food is delicious and cheap. Family owned. Great service. Many options in the menu.

Good food in China Town for a decent price. Walked in and was served right away. Close quarter seating but didn't really notice it. Service was good as well. Cash only though, would definitely eat here again.

With a choice all of the restaurants in Chinatown, we stopped here for a late lunch on May 19. We liked the way it looked. There was another large family there and they really seemed to be enjoying their meal. The place was not very big, but it was comfortable. The appearance might make you wonder - but not to... More

Food was very good, especially the pot stickers. Only accept cash so be ready for that. Three lunch entrees and one appetizer was $35. Not a fancy place at all. Decor is dated and a little dusty but service was good and food was really good. Good spot for a quick lunch in Chinatown.

We knew we wanted to eat somewhere in Chinatown but had not researched to find a place. We stumbled on this gem while we were walking. Please know that this is a small mom & pop type of place and does not have slick service. There was one man taking care of customers out front and one lady doing ALL... More

A unique neighbourhood decorated with colourful shops, historic streetlights, hanging lanterns, and pagoda roofs awaits behind the stone-carved dragon gates. Feast on dim sum at the tea houses, or meet the locals who gather at historic Portsmouth Square to play chess or practice Tai Chi. Fish markets, produce stands, tourist shops, jewelry stores, fortune tellers, temples and restaurants come together to create a world unto itself in this historic neighbourhood.
