This restaurant is very nice and bright with a high class feel. Linen tablecloths and great service with great food and very reasonable pricing for the city. Highly recommend it!

This was our first visit, we stopped here for dinner before we went to see Cirque du Soleil. Delancey St. calls themselves an "ethnic American Bistro", combining different ethnic foods as well as American favorites, like fried Chicken. The salads were large, fresh, and delicious. We also enjoyed the chickpea kale appetizer and a pizzaiola. The Street Noodle tofu dish... More

Delancey Street restaurant has wonderful food. I always get the wood fired rotisserie chicken but last Saturday nite some of my friends also had the wood grilled salmon. Each came with seasonal vegs. The onion rings for the table, the house made foccacia and the chocolate dipped biscotti were fabulous. And... to make things even better the cost for these... More

If you are in San Francisco you must make your way to the Embarcadero and stop in for some very good eats here. The service is super, great food and a touch of excellence on the deserts. The menu offers something for everyone, prices are moderate and the ambiance is San Fran! Would recommend for the family, friends gathering and... More

I was in San Francisco for a few days and discovered I was in the middle of a baseball game between dodgers and the giants. Decided on breakfast of a Bloody Mary and crab cake eggs Benedict. It was outrageously good. Sit outside and watch the giants fans. Chuck Evans

We are a long time patrons for this elegant restaurant and were happy to have dinner here after the remodeling. They hardly changed the layout, the menu is the same and staff is great as always. A fresh carpet and new booths are the most noticeable changes. In the menu, there are small plates available now (like half of meatloaf)... More

This restaurant was so good. We stopped after a visit to the Exploritorium. Surprised to find the place very elegant yet unbelievably reasonably priced. Large sizes too. Not ordinary clearly a great chef. The fried chicken was super and can easily feed two. Check. Out the great salads too.

Very nice food, lovely service, expansive space indoor and outdoor with some views of the Bay. Very reasonable prices! Quiet--soft music. It was perfect for a weekend brunch with old friends we haven't seen and with whom we wanted to catch up.

I sat at the copper covered bar. I ordered an Icelandic beer ($4) and ordered petrale sole ($17). The fish was tender with a crispy skin. The vegetables were well prepared. The cost of the meal is low relative to San Feancisco standards. I did not have a salad, but I shared an appetizer with my friends. It was like... More

My favorite thing is the lava cake with coconut ice cream. The buffalo burger and salmon is good, too. Great service and good bang for the buck. I have been here multiple times and will continue to stop in when I'm in the area.

Staying in SoMa

Neighbourhood Profile
SoMa
South of Market (SoMa), has an urban and sophisticated vibe, but you're more likely to find big nightclubs and lots of industrial loft residences than you are to find boutique shopping. Although it’s the epicenter for tech startups in the city, visitors will be able to do more than just business - museums, top quality restaurants, and the San Francisco Giants now call this neighbourhood home. Most of its freeway-sized streets may not capture the same character as other neighbourhoods in the city, but pockets of charm, like South Park, can still be found throughout its side streets.
