The place is clean and the food is good. I had lunch here and I considered it a good sign that SFO motorcycle cops were eating there lunch here. It seems to be a local favorite and I can see why. The food was good and the prices were very reasonable. $7 Lunch Special

Every dish is good, some better than others, but that's a question of personal taste. What is not, is the superiority of their cooking: they obviously take care to prepare their dishes right. The management and service are also quite likable.

I saw a menu for this restaurant in my friend's kitchen. I looked at the listing of lunch specials, which ran about $7 or $8. That's a good price for a meal in San Francisco, so on the day I walked down 24th Street to see the neighborhood's murals, I went a little farther to have lunch at Jasmine Tea... More

Having eaten here a couple times, I now only go for the hot & sour soup, which many places don't do well. Jasmine Tea House does it right. Everything else is totally acceptable.

found this hole in the wall family owned restaurant and fell in love. The best part, they use no msg in their cooking so no post Chinese headache!!! They have many meatless alternatives which is nice. Didn't try them but definitely would later. Potstickers were great as was the chow mien, general tso, bbq pork, cashew chicken and seafood special.... More

This little gem of an restaurant is located in one of San Francisco's neighborhoods outside of Chinatown proper. I had the best bowl of wonton soup I ever had. It was a meal unto its self. The main course was not only delicious but the presentation was spectacular.

Many chinese restaurants serving dim sum brunch and lunch were overflowing. Went to Mission Street neighborhood and was surprised at the decor or original art pieces and art from China. Dim Sum was above average and reasonable.

Jasmine Tea House is certainly not the best Chinese cuisine in town...but they are consistent. I haven't had a bad experience here. You get a good mixture of choices and it has a comfortable atmosphere in the restaurant. I always get good service.
