A colleague of mine decided to take me to this lovely restaurant, we were staying in a diffrerent part of the city but it was worth it . The area is mainly a Latino area, there are only few Asian places and there is Angkor Borei : a true little gem 1/ the service : a huge welcome with a... More

I just came back from traveling in Cambodia including having taken a cooking course there so I was excited to try a local SF Cambodian restaurant. Based on the other great reviews here, maybe they had an off night or I ordered the wrong things. The Cambodian crepe was good. The spicy sour soup was excellent and legit!!! But the... More

We enjoyed a take away of beef in ginger and red chicken curry. Plenty of meat and a good amount of veg. My two children also loved it!

Fish Amuk is ubiquitous throughout Cambodia , for good reason; I've had it from the northern highlands and lakes to the southernmost Gulf beaches. Fish Amuk is a fish curry with a distinctive Khmer blend of spices, but what really sets it apart is the addition of eggs. Cambodian eggs are far more flavorful than US eggs, and have brilliant... This was recommended by Jonathan B's guide to San Fran. it did not disappoint on the contrary it was simply one of the best places we had dinner on our visit to San fran. A small little restaurant on Mission St. that presents their delicious food with care and delicacy. Truly amazing wonderful flavours and if I lived in San... More

The pumpkin curry CLEARLY sticks out on this menu, and it's well worth it. I mean, anything pumpkin is worth it, but this is pretty legit. The sauce was excellent, and the service is great. I'd definitely come back here just for that, though I'd like to try some of the rest of the menu!

We went there for lunch. We ordered pumpkin curry and ahmohk. The curry was not too spicy hot, full of coconut flavor, and filled with big chunks of stewed pumpkin. The pumpkin was sweet, well textured, and flavorful. We will definitely go back for this dish. We saw the dish ahmohk on a TV show about this restaurant. We ordered... More

Five of us shared a number of dishes on a recent outing to Angkor Borei. The menu has lots to offer, but we were most pleased with two of the specials: the crispy tofu appetizer was amazing, and the pumpkin curry was delicious. We also shared an order of chicken larb (beautifully seasoned) and crispy spring rolls (nothing special). I... More

Having lived-in the Bay Area for years, I don't know how I missed this place until now. Friends took me there, promising a fantastic meal. They did not lie. Great food, and the BEST chicken pumpkin curry I've ever had! I sometimes leave restaurants that others rave about, wondering what the fuss is about, but Ankgor totally lived up to... More
