We went here for my partner's 50th birthday. The ambience of the restaurant is a little hard to describe. It feels small and is well decorated. We ordered the prix fixe menu, which promised surprises from the chef. They didn't lie. One of our favorite...More

If I could give it 4.5 stars, I would. This is a great restaurant overall, but next time, I would plan better and go to Gary Danko's. The tariff is steep in either place, ($500 minimum with a bottle of good wine) but the food...More

My wife ended up violently ill, curiously after being berated for asking that a dish with a main ingredient to which she is allergic and which was not identified on the menu be redone without it. The dish was replaced within several minutes by the...More

We visited Acquerello expecting great food and great service and our expectations were definitely exceeded. We tried the sample menu and it was beautiful, dish after dish, flavor after flavor, we couldn't decide which one we liked most. The service is professional and the atmosphere...More

Lovely atmosphere and elegant decor. Impeccable and highly professional service that was not intrusive. Amazingly inventive Italian-themed food includes some real winners. They added all sorts of delicious items to the a la carte meals we each ordered. When we visited, the restaurant was full...More

I took a friend to Acquerello two weeks ago, and we shared the Seasonal Tasting Menu with the wine pairings. This was a sumptuous extravaganza, the highlights being the cauliflower budino and the roast rabbit, which I notice on their website has since been replaced...More

Atmosphere and service are excellent. However, we went there for excellence in food and that was disappointing. Wife had fish that was dry and over done while my duck breast was tough. It seems to us that the additives to dishes were so excessive that...More

Business meal there was very good. Service and food was very good. High end on price and this is a quieter place .....perhaps civilized is a good word. You feel very well looked after from start to finish. Wine selection is very good

Nob Hill
Swanky and stylish, Nob Hill sits in the heart of the
city and is home to amazing architecture and views.
The hike to the top can be a challenging workout for
those who forego a cable car ride, but they will be
rewarded with some of the city’s most beautiful
architecture adorning its peak. Originally populated
with mansions after the Gold Rush, most if not all
were devastated in the 1906 earthquake and fire that

I assume this is about the Hilton even though it says you're asking about Acquerello. We had one king bed in our room.
