Cannot understand the good reviews others have given this bistro. The experience was not at all what one would expect from a restaurant where main dishes start at $25. Maybe we went on a bad night ??? Claustrophobes beware! Tables are small and literally inches...More

This plaice is very quaint the service is excellent and the food fantastic. We started with a nice bottle of French wine and a charcuterie plate, then we shared the mussels with French fries which were enough for two people. We finished with the profiteroles...More

Service was great. Food was okay but nothing amazing. Decor and atmosphere was really ho-hum. A bit worn, a little dirty even...overall was okay but don't get the rave reviews...so many better restaurants in the city.

I selected Baker Street Bistro to celebrate my wife's birthday. The setting is excitingly authentic, the service was good, but the food, very bistro French, missed the mark. My duck was over cooked. I selected this place because of the effusive review on Check Please...More

We throughly enjoyed our lunch here at this cute little French establishment located on a quieter side street off Union, near the Presidio. The Brut Rose was crisp and refreshing and a perfect complement to our Croque Madame sandwiches with house salads. The sandwiches were...More

We went to snack on the mussels after a recommendation was made. They were abundant. And they were divine! Great crispy fries served and yummy bread. It was April Fools Day and they got us good. A bill for $2644!!

Marina District
Beautiful homes, beautiful people, and a beautiful
backdrop of the Golden Gate Bridge welcome visitors to
the Marina. Originally the location for the
Panama-Pacific International Exposition in 1915 (whose
remnants can be seen at the Palace of Fine Arts), much
of the land was filled and flattened to accommodate a
world’s fair. That ample space has given way to a
jogger’s paradise at the northern edge of the city.
