The restaurant is in the heart of North Beach (aka Little Italy) and is clean and decorated nicely. We came on a Saturday night, and there seems to have only been 2 servers for the whole restaurant. We waited about 15 minutes for a server...More

Although this restaurant is no longer at the Ferry Plaza, it still has great fresh seafood. We arrived early for "happy hour" (2:30 - 5:30) and enjoyed two dozen fresh oysters at $1:50 each and good wine at $5:00 a glass. We stayed for dinner...More

Came here on whim walking by it. Walked in and didn't want to leave. Great atmosphere, $1.50 oysters that are incredibly fresh, and great deals on glasses of wine. We had a white to go with the oysters. Definitely recommend!

North Beach / Telegraph Hill
The aroma of freshly roasted coffee beans, the sounds
of opera, and the sights of the romantic Italian
ristorante come together to create the charming
neighbourhood of North Beach, once the stomping
grounds for the Beatnik Generation. Although parts of
North Beach are known for nightlife that’s not always
suitable for younger visitors, few neighbourhoods in
the city exude as much European charm and style.
