The food was tasty. The spices were nicely done. The service was quick and friendly. My only complaint was that the place felt a bit like a cafeteria. It was not a problem but I would not come here for a fancy dinner.

We had a few different chaat and there was so much deliciousness packed into them! Behind Moscone/Metreon/YBCA and nearby SFMOMA (modern art), MOAD (Museum of the African Diaspora), and the Comtemporary Jewish Museum, this Chaat Cafe is convenient, but also excellent, with a big menu...More

The food is decent and they have a wide variety, but it's not authentic food. Their curries are all a bit generic and lack the variety of spices they should have. But good for a quick meal.

They have options to make entrees a meal which comes with naan and veggie preparation of the day. The naan was soft and tender. The gravy and daal were savory. Among the appetizers I tried Pappri chaat and Paneer pakora, both were delicious. Servers were...More

Poor service, Terrible staff and stale food! I ordered a salmon tandoori and they brought me raw salmon, when I told waitress she disrespectfully removed the plate and brought dry chicken instead

Clean, great service, delicious tasty authentic Indian menu. We thoroughly enjoy their food preparation and service. The noon time crowd suggests that many others do as well. We migrate to the roti naan and garlic naan, chicken tikka masala. The Tandoor Mixed Grill will easily...More

Tasty authentic curries, with plenty vegan-friendly options. We opted for a biriani and vegetable curry, both were very good and not overly hot ,just right. Service was good and waiters were friendly. A good find, and not overly pricey either.

And we were in a hurry, the place was wide open for seating, and we jumped in for some dinner. It was OK, nothing great, but authentic enough, certainly spicy enough, and made for a decent dinner for a moderate price.

South of Market (SoMa), has an urban and sophisticated
vibe, but you're more likely to find big nightclubs
and lots of industrial loft residences than you are to
find boutique shopping. Although it’s the epicenter
for tech startups in the city, visitors will be able
to do more than just business - museums, top quality
restaurants, and the San Francisco Giants now call
this neighbourhood home. Most of its freeway-sized
