I took colleagues to Tadich Grill for a taste of a traditional San Francisco restaurant We waited 45 minutes to be seated, but once served, everybody agreed it was worth the wait. Sour dough bread, fresh seafood, what's not to like?

I've lived in SF area for 30 years, and it's been at least 10 years since I visited Tadich Grill. The venue has an lovely ambiance, but everything ends there. The bar staff is rude, the martini glasses are tiny, and the attitude and arrogance...More

If you, like us, are looking for a place where you can get S. Francisco seafood, but you don't want to be in a total tourist trap, you want something more local, this might be the place. It's an old, traditional, white jacket waiter restaurant...More

We knew this place was famous and well known. Called into just for drunks to have the experience of being in a place so old and famous. My husband told the chap who greeted us that we only wanted drinks, which didn't seem to be...More

Reminded me of a NY style restaurant in ambiance and china. We went in between lunch and dinner, so it was not busy and we received very attentive service from multiple servers. Never an empty water glass and food appeared mere minutes after ordering. Loved...More

As a New England native, I'm very picky about clam chowder; if it's out of a can, I'll know in a heartbeat. The Tadich Grill's was excellent. Also, although i don't ordinarily mention atmosphere in my reviews, I'll make an exception here: the Tadich is...More

The atmosphere at Tadich Grill is charming, and the food was good, but the memory of Tadich Grill for me was one of rudeness and arrogance on the part of the staff. We were treated as if they were doing us a favor to be...More

We couldn’t pass up a visit to Tadich Grill given the number of friends who recommended it to us when they heard we were heading to San Fransisco. It was a wonderful experience. Charming and the oldest restaurant in San Fransisco it was an evening...More

Financial District
The Financial District lies just east of Chinatown but
can seem a world apart given it’s San Francisco’s
version of Wall Street. The rush of business people
make up a hectic weekday and add to a frenetic pace of
life, but visitors who spend a few hours walking the
narrow streets will be rewarded with fine examples of
historic and contemporary architecture, including the
iconic Transamerica Pyramid. After business hours,
