Great sushi with innovative flavours. The lace is perfect for a date. The environment is good and quiet and nice with very good music. We loved it.

Tsunami is a gem of a Japanese restaurant and beats places like Ozumo hands down. The space has a hip, cool ambiance with a great range of seating options from high long tables for large groups of "family style" dining, through low tables that are more traditionally found in Japan to more typical rounds for two people. Went there when we stayed in San Francisco. They really make good and well balanced sushi. If you like sushi and are in the neighbourhood you have to go there. Make your night out complete with a lovely bottle of prosecco just as we did.

They have a great happy hour! They have a long sake list. We like all of their rolls and really enjoyed their sweet potato fries

our family had lots of fun having an early dinner at Tsunami. Great deals during happy hour for drinks and little bites. We got beer, sake and oysters. Also the menu is interested and fish very fresh.

Very good sushi, but not a show stopper. We got there for the 5 to 7 happy hour pricing which made some of the non-sushi's reasonable, and kept us to less rolls and nigiri. definitely bit of a nightclub beat and feel.

A bit off the beaten path, but worth going there. One of the finest Sushi I ever had. Sashimi was just mind blowing. Excellent service. Nice location. 100% recommendation
