The quality of pastry shops in SF never ceases to amaze me. Craftsman and Wolves was no exception. I had way too many. The kougin amman was excellent. Their rebel signature was very good. Their yuzu cake was great. Highly recommend stopping by.

A large savoury muffin with sausage, spring onions, and a perfectly-cooked soft-boiled egg inside. Shake on their spicy Tabasco salt and enjoy! Deeeeelicious.

We absolutely loved everything about this place. The food, the coffee, the service, the decor. Everything was 10/10. Of all the places we ate while driving from San Francisco to San Diego for a ten day vacation, this was the most memorable.

You can smell the bakery permeating on the high street. Great Staff, Atmosphere. AMAZING & AMAZING. All the patisserie is French influenced with a American Flavour.

Was really looking forward to the Rebel Within, the soft boiled egg in a muffin. Thought it would be warmer and more moist but it was just room temperature at best and tasted dry. Egg didn't help much.

Even my 5 year old grandson knows this place is special. The food is art in its appearance and taste. Being there and eating fills the senses with a special kind of fulfillment.

The friendliest staff we've encountered at a coffee/ bakery so far. We had a quiche and a breakfast sandwich that were both delicious. Must go!

Description
Craftsman and Wolves is a contemporary pâtisserie and cafe located in San Francisco's vibrant Mission district. Under the direction of Chef William Werner, CAW offers an ever changing menu of breakfast pastries, cakes, confections, confitures, desserts, lunch, and other savory fare seven days a week. The name is a nod to the craftsman and the numerous challenges that one faces when pursuing their craft (the wolves). For William, Craftsman and Wolves is the pursuit of fifteen years' experience in restaurants and hotels on both the East and West Coast during which he has refined techniques for pastry and chocolate work, honed in on his presentation style, and expanded his palette of flavors.
