If I was rating solely on the food I'd give this venue 5 stars. The Lumache and Rigatoni were great and we brought ample leftovers home. The Lambrusco and Abbazia Pinot Noir were also excellent. But the seating gets 1 star - the tables are...More

The mushroom risotto was great, so were the Brussels sprouts and the cheese and the mushroom appetizer. The asparagus bruschetta was good. The service was prompt and polite. The Genovese soup was hard for me to eat, overpowering pesto flavor. The butterscotch and chocolate gelato...More

Great place, modern urban atmosphere, and outstanding food. Absolutely loved their brussels sprouts! Everything our party of three ordered was excellent. You can't go wrong.

The meatballs come 3 to an order ($16!-- a bargain), with an accompaniment of spaghetti marinara. The night we dined, the meatball varieties presented were pork, veal, and lamb-- we chose to try them all. Each was distinctly seasoned, each went perfectly with the pasta....More

Busy enough evening, but not mobbed. First night in SF. Waited for server to approach. Waited for server to bring wine after apps had arrived. Waited 30+ minutes for dinner. Mediocre - could've made it at home. Waited for server to check back to see...More

Arugala salad was just fair. Pass on the Lasagna, as you could likely make it better at home. Mine was overcooked and dry, and a small piece at that as well. Wine was ok. The plus is a neat narrow atmosphere and staff friendly. Gelato...More

Financial District
The Financial District lies just east of Chinatown but
can seem a world apart given it’s San Francisco’s
version of Wall Street. The rush of business people
make up a hectic weekday and add to a frenetic pace of
life, but visitors who spend a few hours walking the
narrow streets will be rewarded with fine examples of
historic and contemporary architecture, including the
iconic Transamerica Pyramid. After business hours,
