a little find in this district this bustling restaurant is great for their pizza! I loved the one we had with bone marrow. Really innovative and it worked. Would definitely recommend!

I think this restaurant is more hype then anything. The food is ok but it's not worth all the hype. The waiters are pretentious, "hipper than thou" Nuevo missionites" spilling with "tude" and the food is typical SF fair e.g. Tasty but done a million times the same at other places. For all the hype, I was hoping for something... More

Pastas are fresh and very tasty. A wide variety of very different and original pastas. Probably one of the best I have tasted outside of Italy. Portions are relatively small but very well prepared. Make sure to leave some space for the dessert.

Our server, Maddy, made our dining experience so memorable. 3 of us shared three plates: duck tortelloni, roasted hen tagliatelle and the water buffalo bolognese as well as a margarita pizza with arugula, ALL of which were amazing. The experience is still making my heart flutter with enjoyment. Thanks!

This was one of the best meals of my entire life. I heard about it through a great local friend, & when I looked online, it seemed they were booked for the next few weeks, but then I saw text that read "walk-ins encouraged". So we only had to wait 45 minutes for a table. The staff was very accommodating... More

This is deserving of a much higher rating than # 263 in SF. We've been to 400+ in the last decade and it's certainly in the top ten. We had their NYE feast and it was incredible. Can't wait til '18. The wait staff is great. Seek out Andrew.

I went here for dinner with friends and had the tasting menu. Everything that they served tasted phenomenal, the only problem was the speed with which the courses were served. It took forever... Having said that I would definitely go back.

From the short notice for a private party (8), to the "final bell", they couldn't have been more welcoming. The private room has a butcher block center table (seats up to 12), the candles and table ornaments ooze charm and warmth. Wines are good, and reasonable, ($70 for a 2005 Barolo) :-) The five course menu was chef's choice from... More
