I love going to Limoncello. They have an excellent selection of Italian products and snacks like Mulino Bianco and Perugina. Pastas, coffee, olive oils, balsamic vinegars, taralli and more.
But my favorite thing about Limoncello is their sandwiches. I have tried most - the mafioso is very good but my absolute favorite, probably favorite sandwich in San Francisco is the parmigiana sub. If you like eggplant parmigiana, do yourself a favor and go give it a try!

These guys are doing a great job and literally have every Italian delicacy you possibly could need. You could eat here for breakfast, lunch and dinner and still come back for drinks. But mostly we've just been working our way through the delectable sandwich menu, one sandwich at a time. One of these days we'll try and have enough room left to come back for dinner, but I bet that's good too. Do they make more stars for this review?! 11 stars.

I was delighted to find this wonderful deli close to my hotel. Their sandwiches are delicious and filling. Very tasty salads as well. Nice selection of wine and beer. You can even enjoy a glass of wine or a local craft beer on-site. Russian River bottles for sale. Very nice employees.

This deli was across the street from our hotel, and was recommended by the staff. So, one night, we decided to have dinner (takeaway) here.
The dizzying array of sandwiches is impressive. But, we settled on the vegetarian pizza.
One of the most amazing pizza's I've ever eaten. WE LOVED it. The crust had the right amount of crunch, perfect amount of cheese and fresh and grilled veggies - eggplant, artichoke hearts... it was amazing.
Would definitely come here again.
If you want to stock up on some Italian grocery items, you can do this also.

We stayed at the Queen Anne Hotel and this convenience store/sandwich shop was only 2 blocks away. My wife and I shared the Goodfella sandwich and it was plenty big enough for us. The store section had a mix of drinks and Italian products, including lots of olive oil.

Limoncello is a deli with a specialty shop attached to it.
I had the veggies sandwich with pesto, the beet salad, and a coconut water and happily ate outside.
It was all delicious and generously portioned and I was happy!

This is a hidden gem! The sandwich was delicious & they had an amazing selection of Italian grocery items for sale. They had 4 great Russian River beer on tap too! I wish we had more time to return for another sandwich and ice cream or gelato!

San Francisco I stopped in for a late lunch. Very friendly service with lots of fresh ingredients for sandwiches even hotdogs plus much wine selection. A nice place for lunch

Nice local deli which sells sandwiches, wines and deli products.
Grabbed a deli roll to take to the airport. Swiss cheese and salad, which was nice but pricey for what it was 10.25 dollars however it was fresh and wrapped well to keep it fresh.
You can sit outside and drink coffee and eat and watch the world go by

Terrific sandwich handmade with real Italian meats and bread. You can purchase wine if desired and sit outside and watch the people. Worth the stop..
