This was a neat place. We went for a wander around the Cannery on our first night in San Francisco as it was around the corner from our hotel. The UK is 8 hours ahead of SF and we'd not long got off an eleven...More

Pub like places in my opinion rarely let you down! Reasonable prices for drinks and great atmosphere. Live music adds a nice vibe inside. Would go back :)

The sign over the bar states that the staff are paid by the hour, so they are not going to hurry. in fact the staff were surly, rude and could not care at all about what they were doing, and whatever they were doing, it...More

We loved Jacks! It had a classic bar feel and with sports and good beer. The live music is suburb and the over all vibe is brill. Great spot near fisherman’s wharf, which we found ourselves returning too throughout our stay.

My wife and I just stumbled upon this gem. We were drawn to the place by some lovely jazz we heard from the bar. Delighted to discover three seasoned jazz musicians playing some great standards - "So What", "Autumn Leaves", "Blue Bossa", "Take Five".

Great sports bar with a ludicrous amount of ales and a friendly atmosphere. Juke box plays good music, tv plays various sports and the bar staff are helpful when you're trying to chose a beer. Love it here. Our favourite ale is Mt Tam pale...More

Great location, cool bar but bartenders rude and more worried about stuffing their face then the customers. Never watched a set of bartenders be so inconvenienced by customers before..watched one bartender take 3 shots with the owner while on duty then turn around and treat...More
