Shared pork stickers were good but not special.....Scallops with black rice was delicious with tasty wasabi cream sauce. Jasmine rice pot was full of nice ingredients...chicken, prawns and veggies. I like the food....lunch service is a bit harried. $9 for sparkling water is overpriced

I enjoyed the happy hour wine and prices. However some of the food wasn't to my liking. The pork dumplings were excellent but the beef skewers tasted odd. Returned home to realise that my credit card had been switched with someone and I had their check. Tried calling on many occasions, was always told the manager would call back and... More

They like to keep half the door propped open but the curtain does not keep the cold air out! It was freezing! There were three bartenders. One knew what he was doing. The woman had the drinks recipe book open all the time and the third looked pathetically lost! Food was good. The parathas and garlic fries were my favorites.... More

We were on our way to an event at pier 15 and arrived early in the city. Bar was not crowded on a Monday night. Ordered drinks- amaretto sour and whiskey. Great customer service.

I stopped in here for lunch between meetings. It was delicious! The service was also great so I'll definitely be back when I'm in town again and highly recommend.

I try to have a meal here when I'm in SFO. The food is creative, good and reasonably priced for what it is. The whole trout with almonds is one of my favorites.

Had lunch here and it was quite good. The dumpling soup was good and unpretentious and the oxtail was good (not the best I've had though). The person I was with had the ceviche which (was more like sashimi) and scallops which were covered in a strange mixture of very strong flavors. It was all ok but after a week... More

We came here because we were given gift certificates, since its a bit out of the way for the usual "tourist". After dozens of years of visiting the city, we thought we'd tried all Asian restaurants and were pleasantly surprised to run into this Pan Asian gem. The focus is primarily Vietnamese fresh cuisine, with other Asian influences and dishes... More

Staying in Financial District

Neighbourhood Profile
Financial District
The Financial District lies just east of Chinatown but can seem a world apart given it’s San Francisco’s version of Wall Street. The rush of business people make up a hectic weekday and add to a frenetic pace of life, but visitors who spend a few hours walking the narrow streets will be rewarded with fine examples of historic and contemporary architecture, including the iconic Transamerica Pyramid. After business hours, bars and restaurants quickly fill up with happy hour revelers. Stocks aren’t the only kind of market being followed, the Ferry Building Marketplace on the Embarcadero is a gourmet food emporium and farmers market that will satisfy anyone working up an appetite.
