The staff is great and the food is too. If you're in a rush definitely make it over, because you know you will have a good meal.

Delicious! Ordered the carne asada super burrito with everything: beans, rice, sour cream all wrapped up in a flour tortilla. Yummy!

I went with my boyfriend looking for an authentic taqueria in San Francisco, and they did a great job! I was surprised when they gave us free nachos because they did not have something I ordered by the time.

This place offers up bland and boring burritos filled with lots of rice and beans. Even the quesadilla is gross. Skip this one and go to Farolitos down the street.

The food at this neighborhood fast food Mexican joint did not disappoint, and the price was just right! There were six of us, and we ordered a wide variety of dishes because we figured we wouldn't be back any time soon since we live on the east coast. Each item was excellent! My son and I had burritos; his was... More

I hesitated when I saw this listing only had excellent reviews. But we decided to give it a try for a late lunch and we are equally thrilled with the food and the service. We ordered a chicken burrito and a chorizo burrito with all the toppings and both were excellent. My chorizo burrito with fresh salsa, Sour cream and... More

I'm so glad I ate at this place when I was in the mission district. It had good reviews or else I wouldn't have gone but I'm so glad I went. Look past the exterior and go in and experience nice people and fantastically fresh Mexican food. Good value, Good ingredients, great food. Don't miss this place!

It's easy to get a good, huge burrito in the Mission -- there's scores of taquerias. But what's rare are high quality ingredients, attentive preparation, and ultimate freshness. Most are inconsistent at best. Taqueria San Francisco has the best burritos every time. Their ingredients are always the freshest, their burritos are not insanely large, and importantly you feel great after... More

we stop by on a sunny afternoon and we order various dishes (burritos, tostadas, taco vegetarian. I tried the Taco de lengua (beef tongue) and of sesos (beef brains), both excellent in taste and condiments and for a 3$ each. plenty of Mexican beers to cool you down, in a great location in the heart of the mission district

Our first stop in San Francisco after we settled into our place. This is in a great neighborhood, parking was easy but I think it was dumb luck in our case. Between our family members we had burritos, soft tacos and enchiladas. Staff were great and the food was excellent, but limited seating; to be expected for a taqueria.

Thank Kent S

Mission District
From burritos to bicyclists, the Mission is the foundation for all things hip in the city. Cultural attractions, an independent arts community, sumptuous street murals and a high density of bars and cafes make this neighbourhood a magnet for young people. While terrific inexpensive food is abundant, its top-of-the-line restaurants now compete with the city’s best for fashionable diners.
