Yum is the word! Just had a wonderful carrot ginger soup that was so tasty... came with 2 pieces of toasts which I upgraded to a cheddar melt for only a dollar! It was decadent! So comforting and filling. Thank you so much.

During our stay in SFO in November we had breakfast twice at Pats. Pats was across the road from our hotel (Columbus Motor Inn). Variety of meals to choose from the menu. The place can get very busy for breakfast so plan well. Servings size...More

This is a busy neighbourhood restaurant that specialises in breakfast, so if you are staying at the Fisherman's Wharf hotels (Marriott, Hyatt, Sheraton, et al.) and are tired of the "same old, same old" breakfast buffets, Pat's Café gives you a really good, reasonably-priced and...More

A great little cafe right at the end of the cable car route near fisherman’s wharf. You can’t miss the yellow store frontage. Food and service are excellent, but prices are a little high. A very popular spot.

North Beach / Telegraph Hill
The aroma of freshly roasted coffee beans, the sounds
of opera, and the sights of the romantic Italian
ristorante come together to create the charming
neighbourhood of North Beach, once the stomping
grounds for the Beatnik Generation. Although parts of
North Beach are known for nightlife that’s not always
suitable for younger visitors, few neighbourhoods in
the city exude as much European charm and style.
