This place is good, but they are not open everyday. My favorite to get here is their Bicol Express. Very limited sitting.

You want authentic Filipino cooking? This is the place. Healthily executed without compromising taste. For the extra health conscious, just remove the layer of fat/skin from the pork. And while you're there, drop by the store next door and bring home some Suman ( steamed rice rolls ) for snack or breakfast - I recommend the Saliya sold in pairs... More

Stopped in to try this small neighborhood restaurant. Food was delicious and the owners very friendly. The only menu is what is written ob the board but there seemed to be a good selection including the usual selection of adobo, sinagang and lumpiang. I also had the halo-halo which was fantastic. Only drawback, seating is very limited.

This humble restaurant is the only Filipino restaurant within the greater Boston area (for now, at least), and provides some measure of comfort to the many first-generation Filipinos who live and work in the area. Some of our favorites from JnJ (mostly pork dishes): the crispy pata (deep-fried pork knuckle), lechon kawali (deep-fried pork belly), the pork barbecue (roasted pork... More

My husband and I found this little place and love it. Although it's only open on the weekends, it's worth the wait during the week. Everything is homemade and delicious. We like their food so much we had them cater our wedding's rehearsal dinner. It's a small and unassuming place with great service and authentic food!

I took my wife here for Mother's Day. We both had never been there before. My first impression was that the place was small and similar to places I been to in the Philippines. The staff was very friendly. The food was good except not all of it was hot. They didn't have all that we asked for which was... More

I'm very impressed with this place. I've been here about a dozen times now. The food is fresh, flavorful and consistently delicious. It is family run. Rather than being "Mom & Pop" this place is staffed by a mother and son. I'm new to the food of the Philippines, but this is quite similar to that which I have had... More

Definitely worth the drive! We lived in NH and we sometimes make a trek to JnJ and to Sure Pinoy to satisfy my son's adobo craving. We usually call ahead to order food, and Tita always have it ready and nicely wrapped for us when we get there. The prices of the meals are very reasonable too. Try their Bicol... More

We go to JnJ once a month since we moved to MA. The restaurant is next to SurePinoy which is very convenient when we do our Filipino grocery shopping monthly. I always order my to go before going to the grocery and pick it up after. My favorite are: dinuguan, fried tilapia, lechon kawali and sinigang! I order 2 or... More

The food here seemed to be about as authentic as you're going to find in North America. Great pork adobo, lumpiang shanghai, and pancit bihon. The staff were all friendly and will take the time to explain each menu item to all the gringos. They have a fantastic selection of Pinoy goods in the market connected to this restaurant.
