Best Steak ever but Service not as good as expected!!

The steak has taken first place on Guam and after reading the reviews I am sorry to say that the service was not as good as expected after reading high reviews on the service. The male server we had seemed to be new and paid more attention to the table next to us. We had to ask the girls assisting to refill the drinks and the server brought out food without utensils where again I had to ask the helpers. The final straw was after we finished dinner he never asked if we wanted desert or if we wanted anything else. He was quick and did ask if we wanted the bill. I was shocked and even told him aren't you at least going to ask us if we wanted desert? After silence he delivered the bill so, the restaurant lost out on us having desert. We left and decided to get desert somewhere else as we were celebrating a birthday. This server definitely needs additional training and did not represent the high standards I am sure the restaurant requires. A little pricey and I wish the steaks came with a side other than a half roasted garlic. The price of the sides seemed a bit high also but were very good. If I return I will request the Filipino helper to serve me as she did more than our assigned server. I told her the steak was great and complements to the chef and she said so I expect you to come back. Nice touch!! She should have been our server as the one assigned did not even give minimum service.

Absolutely fascinating experience

It was definitely one of the best experience we had on the island. I visited Guam for my birthday with my girl friend and booked this place for our second night. The atmosphere is very sophisticated and romantic, yet the most of the customers were tourists (including ourselves) so if you prefer something local, this is definitely not the one for you. If you are visiting from Asian regions, some waiters and waitresses could speak the language so it could be a good place for you. It was not necessary quiet, but I love the atmosphere, which is perfect for adult (definitely not for young). Food and drinks were excellent for its price. Our waitress was very kind to recommend us with good wines when we have very small knowledge of them. Yet, she gave us the perfect bottles and we loved all of them. I briefly mentioned that it was my birthday, and she brought us surprise cake at the end. I never intended to request for such, but it was very thoughtful and made me happy. It was such an amazing time we spent here at Alfredo's, we asked reservation for next day before we asked for check. If we ever come back to Guam, we will definitely come back to Alfredo's Steak House.

Special Birthday Dinner with my lovely Wife

First, when i called after 10pm, the hotel staff was so kind to answer the phone. After Covid-19 lockdowns, most restaurants don't answer the phone because they are shut down for awhile. I was advised to please call between 9a-4p the next day to make a reservation. I looked up Alfredo's, Dusit Thani online and discovered I could book a reservation, I did and received a confirmation and reservation number. My wife asked for a window seat, which I did not know initially and I was able to modify my reservation and ask to dine with a view and I also asked if Alfredo's could prepare a special dessert. No response. However, I called on the day of our reservation and asked for a special dessert and was advised that particular dessert dish was not a menu item. Later after fine dining, the special birthday dessert arrived and it was per my request. We were both surprised and pleased from the time we made the reservation, modified it for the window seat, called back to ask for a special dessert, greeted with friendly greeters, served by a 1st Class gentleman and two lovely ladies. Thank you JK. Charde, Lizel, Queenie and Cherilyn for the special dessert. We highly recommend Alfredo's Steakhouse for an unforgettable memorable evening with your special love, family, friends and business clients. Thank you Alfredo's Steakhouse and Dusit Thani for a happy time that my wife is forever going to remember and thank me for treating her to a world class dining experience.

Anniversary

Me and my wife celebrated our wedding anniversary at Alfredos, it was our first time and we had an amazing experience, our server John and Lizel was knowledgeable about the menu and the whole staff was so attentive. Shardae would come and check on us to make sure everything was perfect. It was an open kitchen so you can see and watch as the chefs prepared your meal. Ours came out and the presentation was beautiful and delicious. Perfect for a romantic setting

Celebrating my In-Law's Wedding Anniversary

Celebrated my in laws wedding Anniversary July 30, 2020. It was a last minute decision to make reservations here. My wife and I were extremely pleased with our choice. From the moment we arrived to our departure we were treated very well. The wait staff Carmina, Lizel and our host (sorry for not remembering her name) were very attentive and accommodating. My father in law even mentioned how well trained they were in presenting the food items. My mother in law was very impressed too! The food was superbly delicious and very well presented (compliments to the Chef Mr. John Bericker and Mr. Thomas). We had the Lobster bisque, asian pear salad, shrimp cocktail, scallop ceveiche, crab cake, Wagyu beef appetizer, rib eye steaks, Tbone steak, risotto, mashed and roasted potatoes and Finally to top it off a Taro Coconut cake! The food variety was abundant and very well portioned. Most impressive was how delicious it was! The setting was perfect too just as the sun set! One of our best dining experiences ever! Anniversary Dinner

So thankful that even with a full seating JK was able to get us our usual window seat. JL and Unica made sure we were taken care of and they both did a great job our bread and drinks are always being refilled! I commend them for working even during a pandemic. Anyway we did not wait long for the food and bill was $400.60, I rather pay that much than $24 for shrimp spring rolls and wait almost 30min per order somewhere else. Be safe!

The chefs are very talented and able to cook a steak to perfection. On the spot they created a Vegan option my wife loved so she was not left with just a salad. Our waiter JK was attentive, but not intrusive, and had a good knowledge of the menu and the wine.

Excellent service and amazing food!

My husband and I along with our teenagers visited for our 8th Anniversary. We were immediately blown away with how promptly we were seated and how well we were attended to. We ordered the 6oz tenderloin, lobster bisque, mashed potatoes, wild mushrooms, risotto and asparagus. My husband is vegan so we special ordered grilled tofu with some veggies and mashed potatoes. It was all to die for. Anna was an excellent server! With our Dusit Gold Membership, we were able to save 20%.

Had dinner there tonight for my fiance birthday. Ambience, view, and restaurant was beautiful as expected. Just a little dark for me, but still nice. Food was expensive as steakhouses should be. Steak, appetizers, and sides were cooked perfectly (10/10) and were scrumptious. Our servers were great they kept checking up on us. Only thing was the Assistant Manager was kind of rude in my opinion. My four year old son, just speaking to us casually not even too loud or yelling. I guess the Assistant manager found him loud, she pretended to check on how we were doing as we were waiting for our food, then straight out ask my fiance if my son can keep it down. I would have told my son to keep it down if i felt he was too loud, but he wasn't. After that it just ruined my dinner mood. Alfredo management please indicate it in your page that your establishment does not welcome children (talking) in your restaurant so guests like us will not book a reservation and to be treated like that especially that we are paying those kind of prices you are charging, very unpleasant. Other then that food was still great. Y'all don't dine in though if your bringing your kids its going be uncomfortable for you when they tell you to keep your child's voice down.

My husband and I always go to Alfredos for our special occasions. COVID prevented us from eating in the restaurant itself, but the waitstaff offered to give us an in-room experience since we were staying at the Dusit. When they brought our food to the room, they made sure it came with a side of amazing service. They really wanted us to have the full Alfredos experience even though we had to eat in our hotel room. We were absolutely blown away! This was June of 2020. First time we were able to eat in the restaurant was late August 2021 for my birthday. JK was our waiter and left such a lasting impression. He accommodated all of our requests and allergies, as well as making sure we felt like we were his first and only priority. They were out of select items we wanted but his recommendations were even better than what we originally requested. Most recently, on Halloween my husband and I decided complete last minute we wanted to go for our wedding anniversary. The hostess and waitstaff were very accommodating and helped us get a reservation that worked best for us. Upon sitting down, we were given the same table, which led us to having JK be our server again! Without skipping a beat he remembered so much about our last visit from a few months ago! Even remembered the wine we ordered, as well as some funny inside jokes we made with him. Again, just like before he was amazing. So attentive and beyond lovely. Halloween was the first night of a new desert menu, and spoiler, there was no chocolate deserts on there. That didn’t stop JK from helping a girl out with that craving! He asked the chef to make me this INCREDIBLE chocolate fondant with salted caramel inside topped with salted caramel ice cream. I wish I took a picture but I couldn’t put my spoon down! Although Alfredos has the best food on Guam, we no longer go there for the food. We go there for the experience, and to see our pal, JK! Anniversary dinner

My husband and I went for our anniversary dinner. I had the Wahoo which was cooked to perfection. My husband had the wagyu steak and savored each and every bite. One of the best meals we have ever had in our lives. Ms. Janice was very attentive and sweet. They gifted a dessert for our celebration as well, which was a nice touch. The restaurant has a beautiful view and sophisticated ambiance. We highly recommend the splurge for the wagyu steak! We will definitely be back again.

Had my anniversary celebration with my other half for the first time at Alfredos. I don’t typically do reviews on restaurants but I can say what stood out to me the most was the hospitality from Chef Christian and our Server Carmina. A major part of our enjoyment for our dinner was not only the experience of trying something new to us in terms of the food, but mainly the hospitality that was shown to us by our Server Carmina and Chef Christian. Definitely will be back to enjoy our time there.

First time experience for us at Alfredo’s was excellent from beginning to end. JK, Unica and company were quick, friendly, polite and simply amazing hosts! Our food was delicious and each recommendation was totally on point. The Chef even visited our table to greet us and made sure we enjoyed our meal. It was great and we hope to return again soon! Highly recommend and so very thankful we could celebrate this occasion together. Always blessed!

Best service I have had when visiting a restaurant. Service was spot on and the food was beyond amazing, Anna was our server and she was so professional and easy person to talk to and ask questions. I will recommend Alfredo to friends when traveling through Guam!!

Birthday/Graduation Celebration

Wonderful service, beautiful view and ambiance. The food was great. We had a 4year old and a 10year old with us. They accommodated our request to cater to the kids pallets which we greatly appreciated. The sides are separate orders but the beans and mashed potatoes were so tasty. We ordered two ribeyes and was big enough to share for three of us. We tried the escargot and Cesar salad, our 10year old highly recommends the salad. The escargot was also really good. They give salt with the bread and butter we kept it to put on our steak and it worked out well. I recommend you eat the garlic with your steak it enhances the flavors even more. This was a wonderful night to celebrate a dual event. Oh they also gave two complimentary desserts for the occasion that was really nice.
