I wanted to get away from all the tourist eateries and stands on the north shore. This place is worth a try ...samosa and meat pies also shrimp and other plate lunches.

I do not remember who told about this wonderful find on the North Shore, but we've been coming for years, and it remains our favorite. We've had lots of Indian food in Los Angeles and other big cities, but the yellow Dahl (we get it...More
Really wanted some curry and decided to try this place. Great little market. Settled on the shrimp curry, but it wasn't what I expected. It was shrimp with the shell still on and some curry sauce drizzled on it. It was good, but I was...More
Had lunch here, chicken rotti wrap. Great authentic Fijian Indian food. Curry, rotti, vegetarian, samosas.. also a Fijian grocery market. Eat in or takeaway. Great cheap eat. Also get a fabulous coffee from the coffee cart in the car park.

When you are tired of huge servings of meat or shrimp this is the place to come for something a little different. Their curry is amazing! The best part is that it is still served in Hawaiian portions!
This take out joint is in the back of a Fijian grocery store but don't let the casualness fool you. As someone who has grown up on Fijian curry, this place has garnered high marks from me and my sister. There is a window at...More
Just like most of North Shore, this eatery is not fancy. You order your food at a window and they bring it out to you at a few picnic tables out front. That being said, I was impressed with the quality of the meat, bread,...More
