Only went there once. My family were the only customers in the restaurant and somehow I never got my order. They were kind enough to remove it from the bill, but I can't give them a great rating as I was so disappointed ( and hungry) on the service.

Love it! Wonderful traditional Hawaiian plate meals! A must have while in oahu on north shore! We will visit multiple times while on oahu!

Had the salmon and was way too salty with too much sauce for my taste. Probably frozen but can't expect fresh from a small restaurant. Place wasn't crowded at all which made me think otherwise to go there but the salmon was decent. Definitely need to try the laulau and heard some good things about the garlic chicken; so, will... Did a day trip to the North Shore to check out the sights, surf, food and Matsumoto's shaved ice. So many food trucks at every turn. Wow! Lucky I did my research before I got there. Wanted to eat somewhere new, indoors (ahhh...cool a/c), and be served. Papoku's Hawaiian Grill was the place. Next to the Post Office, with free... More

This is a casual family restaurant with very friendly service. The restaurant inside is simple(like many restaurants in area) but clean and comfortable. Portions are quite big and the price is not bad. My husband and I ordered teriyaki chicken and kalua pork with rice and simple salad. The kalua pork was better than the kailua pork we had later... So we look for places not in the beaten path... Had the steak teriyaki...ate every bite. Omg, so good. Garlic chicken was also good (stole some of hubby's plate ^_^ ) Definitely worth a stop! And don't look at the map for urban spoon, it has it in the wrong place. It's literally in front of the post office. Delicious... More

We seek out Hawaiian food, and this is some of the best! The service is very friendly, the food is outstanding, and the atmosphere is best not described. My only complaint is that they did not have chili pepper water; we had to bring our own.

It's a very small restaurant, with extremely helpful and friendly staff. We tried the Hawaiian plate. The pork was tender and juicy, and the Poi was fresh. We also tried the spicy Ahi tuna. We were not disappointed. They gave us big portions, and the cost was reasonable.

There is nothing fancy about this place but it is a locally owned restaurant. The staff is friendly and the French fries were soggy and appeared to be "Ore Idas" from Costco but, overall, the food is good. My 15 month old grandson loved the French fries.
