We always trust tripadvisor and decided to try Kono's as we were planning a drive to Dole Plantation and North Shore from Ko Olina. And Kono's lived up to its top billing . It's a small place but picnic tables are right outside. The staff was friendly and the Kalua Pork was awesome. We also tried the Avocado BLT and... More

This place is generally always pretty busy. The breakfast burritos are my go to and they are very good! Nice atmosphere, generally friendly service and reasonable prices. A must stop for breakfast in Haleiwa!

We went out of our way to find Kono's to eat some kalua pork while visiting the North Shore. We were not dissapointed. The restaurant is small with only a few tables inside, but more outdoor seating is available. You order at the counter and the staff was patient with us newbies trying to choose from the numerous offerings on... More

Lived here for 2 years, heard about their breakfast. I went with my dad for a breakfast burrito. Menu is very small, and the place was very disorganized. The burrito was good, but for the money, any other breakfast would have been better.

Delicious food. Great iced coffee. Outside dining with the free range chickens. You will know you are in Hawaii!

On our spring break vacation, my husband and I did an early morning shark cage dive on the North Shore. We'd only eaten protein bars before the dive, so we headed to Kono's for breakfast after the dive, based on reviews on TA. I am gluten-free, so I couldn't get one of the breakfast bombers. My husband got the Haleiwa... More

Their breakfast burritos are called the bombers. Every bit as good as the reviews I read here. Hot, well seasoned, fluffy eggs, potatoes and delicious salsa. Highly recommended.

We eat at both locations- there's one in town now- and both are fantastic. Breakfast bombers are $9+ but will be hard to eat in one sitting and will keep you full for the day. Sandwiches are good, too, but the wraps are more beach/picnic friendly. Great food, great staff, no complaints!

So the eggs must be fresh. Fast Counter service. Excellent food prepared properly. The Portuguese sausage did taste a lot like Pepper Ridge Farms. Coffee was excellent and free refills were available. Everything seemed to be very fresh.
