Went to the Aloha Mixed Plate for breakfast. Good list of standard breakfast fair on the menu. The POG is great - the best I've had on the islands. Great Loco Moco, French Toast, and Eggs/Bacon/etc - view is great also, right on Lahaina bay. This is a must try when on Maui - very well known, ask someone if... More

We had lunch here on a recent trip to Maui. My husband had the Mahi fish sandwich and I ordered the Aloha Mixed Plate, we tend to share whatever we order. The food was delicious, the service was excellent and the views were awesome. When it started to rain staff came around to make sure we were covered by the... More

Super value Hawaiian mixed plate lunch and dinners right on the water in Lahaina. Top quality food, relaxed outdoor ambiance, fast, friendly service. We go back and back for more.

My husband and I ate here almost everyday for breakfast and also twice for happy hour. Beautiful view of the ocean, the food was incredible, and you're not going to pay $20 for eggs and toast. We loved finding local restaurants on Front Street and this was one of our favorites. Very friendly service as well. Can't wait to return!

We ate here for breakfast our first morning in Maui. It's a cute little place on the water with great views-we were lucky enough to get a table right up front. The food was very good-I had the moco loco and my husband had the pork hash, which he loved. He also had a Bloody Mary, which was a special.... More

Cute little outdoor place, nothing fancy but good and filling food. Staff very friendly but service can be a bit slow; remember you are on island time. We had the Aloha mixed plate that comes with fish, beef and shoyu chicken. The fish and beef were really favorable and I would order again. The chicken was average. There are many... More

We had lunch on a hot day over Labor Day weekend, at a table in the shade closest to the oceanfront on the patio. The food and drinks were tasty, prices very reasonable, and service was fine. The ocean was in high surf form due to a hurricane in the distance and the views were gorgeous.

Description
In the early days of the sugar plantations, lunch was a simple affair. Plantation workers gathered in the fields for their mid-day meal. The Japanese laborers would bring teriyaki beef with rice and pickled vegetables. Seated next to them might be their Filipino neighbors with the traditional dish adobo or perhaps a pork or chicken stew. The Koreans had their kalbi or marinated ribs and the Chinese a rice noodle and vegetable dish called chow fun. Hawaiians were known for their kalua pig, roasted in an underground oven called an imu. It wasn't long before they began to share their foods with one another and the "mixed plate" was born. Aloha Mixed Plate features true "Local" traditional plate lunches with open air seating directly on the ccean. We are open for Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner.
