I believe Kimo's is run by the samp corp as Duke's, Hula Grill, Leilani's, Keoki's. The menu's and recipes are very smiilar and I was perhaps not expecting much more than good food with a nice view. We had an excellent experience. Good food tastes great with fresh foo-foo dirnks, excellent service with enthusiasm, great sunset view, and good friends.... More

a great place to have fresh fish and a beautiful ocean view. We have been coming here for over 10 years and have never had a bad meal. A must even if just for a drink

We had made reservations the day of our dinner. So glad that we did - the restaurant was jammed with people waiting for a table. We ordered the Mahi Mahi and the Ono. Both dished prepared very differently but both were fabulous. The rice pilaf was awesome. Wait staff was very attentive no waiting for anything. The bill was reasonable... More

Kimo's caters to families and adults alike. Good food with great atmosphere. Service was great. Good came out hot and delicious. The various types of very fresh fish you can't find anywhere outside of Hawaii. The Opah and Ono fish was tender and delicious. Try the Hula Pie for dessert. Macadamia nut ice cream and chocolate...you can't go wrong

As a frequent visitor to Maui and staying close to Lahaina we have been to Kimo's many times over the last thirty years. The choice is the restaurant proper, or to eat in the bar area. Both are good value, for Maui that is! For a lighter meal we usually eat in the bar area. The Fish Taco's are excellent... More

Boyfriend and I went for happy hour. The happy hour drinks were so-so, but the view and friendly bartenders made up for that. We stayed for more drinks once happy hour ended (at 5). I had a great pina colada as we watched the sunset. We didn't have any food, but the menu looked alright. Seemed kid-friendly. Beer people: they... More

The mood was great, our waiter , more than authentic and extremely attentive. He as a slice of surf culture at its core. The drinks were good and the food was good too- but you are better off here going simple. Kimo plays at being a gourmet restaurant but you'd be better served with the basics: unadorned good fish and... More

You know that dream you have about eating an exotic meal and drinking a tropical cocktail while sitting beside the ocean? well, you can do that at Kimo's. Right on the water with the sea breeze in your hair and friendly service. Although parking can be a real challenge in Lahaina, it is worth the effort to experience this place.... More

Description
Right on the water and in the heart of historic Lahaina, Kimo’s brings you and your o’hana (Hawaiian for family) a casual, completely Maui dining experience. Renowned our “postcard” views of Lanai and Molokai, we offer a menu featuring fresh Hawaiian fish, prime rib, prime steaks and the original Hula Pie, Kimo’s has been a Maui must-do for over 30 years. The upstairs main dining room shows the architectural influence of New England on the former whaling port, with koa-lined walls, missionary-style furnishings and maritime memorabilia. After dinner, Kimo’s lanai becomes a very cool hotspot for tropical cocktails and Hawaiian music. Live entertainment is offered on weekends and select week nights.
