This place is a MUST STOP. Their pot pies are amazing (would recommend turkey) and their pies are unbelievable (had the banana cream and the coconut cream - both incredible).
I went during COVID times when they did not have dine in. We had our...food quickly after ordering and even driving 15 minutes to our hotel to eat it, it was still hot and amazing (and pies were cold).More
Delicious fresh pie! Make sure to get there early since we got there 10 minutes before opening and there was already a line outside. The banana cream pie was our favorite. We will definitely go back to try their other pies and other menu items.
We arrived just after opening, 1015AM, with the intention of getting a pie or two. But we saw they had a lunch menu! So perfect for us. While we waited 15 minutes for our order, we walked next door to the produce stand and bought...fresh coconuts to be machete'd for a refreshing drink Also, got sugar cane hacked up so the little could experience that.
I got the garden salad and added seared ahi to it, very good. My husband enjoyed the veggie burger, and our son had a simple turkey sandwich with Maui chips.
The pies though.... nom nom nom.
We got the classic coconut cream pie and the chocolate macadamia nut. Next time, I will definitely try the Olowalu Lime pie and the banana cream pie. Coconut was my absolute favorite.More
Only regret is not coming earlier in the day as they sell out of their pies later in the afternoon. Our family tried the 3 flavors still available at 4:45 in the afternoon: Dutch Apple, Pineapple Macadamia, and the lime pie. All were incredible as...voted on by me, my hubby, and our 3 adultish sons. Will definitely come back next time we visit Maui to try more flavors.More
I’ve been wanting to stop here on our way to Kaanapali or the airport every single trip. I finally talked my family into stopping. Holy pie will I dream about these treats! The chocolate macadamia pie and the coconut pie were out of this world....We inhaled them! The lime pie was great, but the other two were unique, rich and perfected. They are still in Covid protocol and I appreciate that. The line moves super fast, so don’t get dismayed when you see the line. They ALWAYS have a line- because they’re worth it. The food looked great, will try next time.More
We really enjoyed lunches here our last time on Maui. The lunch we had was okay but not to the level it was last time. There is no dine in now, so a long line to order and even longer wait for food to be...ready. Probably 45 minutes total. Beef sandwiches had very fatty meat that was sometimes inedible. Lime pie was good. Banana cream lacked flavor and chocolate pie tasted like pudding in a pie shell. Pies were given when you ordered but food took about 30 minutes to come out so pie quality was probably diminished by the long time in the sun while waiting for food. The take out only model seemed to change the food quality and the experience. Phone in orders seemed quicker. Maybe stick to turkey or non red meat sandwiches and bring a cooler to keep pies in.
Tips: Would do phone ahead order. Same canned drinks were available at adjacent store for much lower cost. Farmers market in parking lot was nice to visit and buy from as well.More
