Just arrived in Maui. One of my favorite places on earth. Because of a recommendation, we are here before heading to Kaanapali. Man! You can’t believe how busy it is. Plan on 30 min wait. Even at 2pm. No. No reservations either. But don’t worry....More

Two minutes away from the Maui airport. The wife and I were starving upon arriving from Los Angeles. We ordered the ribs and the chicken. The food was most excellent and did not disappoint.More

We're elated to see you both showed up hungry and left with smiles! We'll make sure to pass those props on our ribs and our chicken on to the chef. We'll see you the next time your plane touches down in Maui. Mahalo, Keala Richards,...More

For some real good and local Hawaiian food this is a must. You may want to try and get there a little before they open to beat the line. The food was great as well as the service.

A friend recommended Da Kitchen...since it was by the airport, we decided to have a late lunch on the way to our hotel. Da Kitchen is located in a non-nondescript strip mall. There was a 15-20 minute wait, which would have been better if it...More

We had the ahi sandwich (served with taro chips) which was delicious, and the Polynesian Paralysis Moco which consists of fish tempura, pork, mushrooms with gravy drenched over fried rice - the paralysis moco was flavourful but a little too salty, and note that the...More

The ahi sandwich and taro chips were an excellent choice! Only the brave conquer the Polynesian Paralysis Moco, and it looks like you took it down with a smile. Traditionally, the local palate does incorporate quite a bit of salt. With that being said, if...More

Before our flight back to the States, we stopped at the Da Kitchen for our last Maui meal. Oh my heavens. Everything on the menu sounded good. We ended up ordering the Fish and Chips and Fried Noodles and Beef.

My wife and I ate at Da Kitchen because it’s recommended in the Lonely Planet. The food really was excellent- was better than at the Luau we visited next evening. We were at Da Kitchen during the late afternoon and didn’t have to wait for...More

Our family joined another family and we all were seated within 15 minutes. I have to agree with other reviews...portions are big enough to share. I had the Mahi Plate! It was great. The fish tasted very fresh.

Overall service was good but the plates are huge, more than enough food for two people. I think the food was average, more quantity than quality. A good place for big eaters.
