My husband and I have decided this is our new Anniversary dinner place. With delicious food, and a big menu, at decent prices this place would've garnered a 5 star review were it not for the 20 minutes we waited to be seated after our reservation time. Our server was Kara and she was fantastic. She checked on us often... More

We visited this restaurant for dinner and had 1 tapas (duck breast) as well as 2 main courses (linguine ai funghi & bigoli neri al salmone). The food was great and the portions were according to European standards more than sufficient. All in all, our best restaurant experience on this Hawaii trip.

The menu selections are very good. The female bartender is the rudest you will ever find. She can ruin your experience so try to sit outside the bar area. We have walked out three times after rude service from her.

I am a local that appreciates good food. We came back to give it another chance because the food is good. As last visit about a year ago we waited and waited and waited. Our dinner reservation was at 7 our first entree(1) came out at 845. No exaggeration! This is a conservative statement. I asked the waitress for our... More

The best thing about the Casanova is the brisk service and the local beer. My spinach and ricotta ravioli didn't really taste of anything. It consisted of just 5 raviolis in an oily pesto sauce ($16). For dessert I had to try the tiramisu which consisted of alternate layers of sponge and whipped cream topped with chocolate powder and a... More

Wanted to go someplace close to the hotel after a long work day and decided on Italian. I felt guilty at the end of an amazing meal as the prices were too cheap for the high quality food served. Great cocktails and a small but impressive wine list. Home made gluten free pasta with pesto and pine nuts was fantastic.... More

I have eaten at Bistro Casanova twice recently, once for lunch and once for dinner, and have been impressed with the food and the friendly service. For lunch I had the Quack Salad with duck confit, dried cranberries and goat cheese. Utterly delicious. For dinner I had the quinoa risotto with mushrooms, so good that I have continued to think... At first glance we were not sure if this restaurant was the right choice for us...a somewhat different dining room and a menu that did not offer the usual Italian fare. We were so wrong. This dinner ended up being one of the best meals we had on the island. All the dishes are made from scratch - including the... More

Came in for lunch. Service was a bit slow, but my mahi mahi was worth the wait. On the pricier side, like most things in Maui. Good spot.

It was one of the best dinners I had during my stay on Maui. Very good and gentle service. Only to recommend

Bistro Casanova is located at the ground floor of the Kahului office building, a four stories property across the street from Kahului beach, just one mile from Kahului airport. Your GPS device will probably lead you to the large parking space behind the building. You can gain entrance to the Restaurant both from Kaahumanu Avenue, where a large awning with the sign Bistro Casanova will guide you from the parking stalls to the front door, and from Lono Avenue, where a large sign shows the entrance from its main address: 33 Lono Avenue. In both cases, you'll have no problem in finding parking, day or night time. See you inside, where you'll be able to choose a table in the air conditioned dining rooms or "al fresco", in the lanai.
