Every once in a while, it's nice to have a loco moco (beef patty in gravy, served with rice and a fried egg). This really hit the spot when I wanted exactly that. The burgers are really good too, and there are picnic tables across the road, but you have to "share" them with the chickens :)

This restaurant was off the beaten path a slight bit, but served excellent lunch. We even thought it was awesome that they had 16 ounce soda cans to get a bit more for your money. The food was very reasonably priced and tasted fresh and delicious.

As you enter this restaurant, you think you have gone back in time. It reminded me of walking into a saloon. Do not be fooled though. Even though this establishment is not as fancy as some of the resort restaurants, it serves food that compares to the high-end eateries. We stopped by here for lunch after walking around Waimea and... More

I pride myself on eating at places like this while on Kauai or elsewhere. I imagine there are many tourist who whould never set foot in a place like this, they want the over price fare at Princville and Poipu. Good. This place is so indiscript, you may not even notice it. But the food is good and the staff... More

Go for the funky atmosphere, not the food. Advertising itself as a Christian restaurant, its motto (emblazoned on the counter) is, "We don't serve alcohol, we serve love." My husband and I both had Teriyaki Chicken salad--one of their specialties--my husband's as a wrap, mine as a salad. Eh!!

We tried this place after going up to Wimea Canyon and we're all very hungry. This was a recommendation by one of our guides and he hit this right on. If you're in a rush, save this place for another day. They make everything fresh and so it may take longer if you are trying to eat quick. They offer... More

Had high hopes for their plate lunches....not your typical choices. Chose chicken/rib combo very blah, no flavor.

This is a great little place to grab a tasty burger after a day of walking and hiking at Waimea Canyon. The staff was extremely friendly and the food really hits the spot. I recommend the Teriyaki Burger. The restaurant itself is very small but directly across the street is a small park with picnic tables. This park also has... More

The good: food tastes really good. Everything I have ever eaten here has always tastes good. Food is cooked fresh per order which is why it does take a little longer. The bad: the portion size has gone down and the price has gone up. Staff isn't as friendly as they used to be (lots of new faces). Last time... More
